  1. I didn't live here when it was converted, I'd love to have had one last walk around the old building before it was converted. I've taken my six year old into the car park and showed him the painted goal we used to use.
  2. I went to St Johns in Archdale Rd too (1970-76). I loved my time there. And the two years at the Epiphany Hall. It was a bit like a village school.
  3. Well why don't you just ask the organiser?
  4. Burbage Road fireworks were last week (if that's what we're talking about).

It strikes me as a little pricey. The Lansdowne pub in Primrose Hill (where most people are loaded) does starters from ?5-?8 and mains from ?10-?18, they also do a kid's pasta for ?5. The food is always great and it's busy. I think this is a good price bracket to aim at to get repeat business.

Hey! Let's just all start moaning about something before it's even opened properly? Who needs enterprise anyway?
  7. Foxes and Pheasants.. It'll be Grouse next.
  8. I think a lot of people drive to the park who could easily walk and leave spaces for those that need them.
  9. Unless you're disabled why do you need to drive to the park anyway?
  10. What I've noticed is that people who bought flats a few years ago and had kids now find it very difficult to afford a bigger property. So they have to move out of the area and change schools when they really would rather stay around here, which is a shame.
  11. As this is not an ED topic anymore.. Just an attention seeker jumping in front of cyclists in Clerkenwell could this please be Lounged?

By just taking the odd muzzy snap you're not actually proving anything statistically. You're just being a bore.. But you know that.
  13. Not getting enough attention?
  14. WTF has a cycle crackdown in Clerkenwell got to with ED? Can this thread be Lounged so people can twat on pointlessly in peace?
  15. People can be amazing when faced with a crisis. Shocking that the police didn't show.
  16. Amen to that.
  17. Where in ED were those taken? The second blur particularly impressive.
  18. I wear mostly merino Wool on my bike.. Never been called a merino lout by anyone.
  19. I feel a bit upset nobody has tried it on me. I'd tell her to take the ring and chuck it into the fires of Mount Doom.
  20. Possibly. He rides on the pavement too. The man's a crime wave.
  21. A few months ago, I saw a guy fitting this description taking a very keen interest in a building site at the corner of Friern Road and Upland (on a Saturday morning). He saw me watching him and he pedaled off.
  22. It's going to be a branch of Boulangerie Jade who are in Blackheath (phew..not something coming from Clapham with it's fancy ways). I'll miss Homemade. Lots of happy snacking there.
  23. I liked the old CPT. But whenever I went it was almost empty. Now, whenever I go, it's mostly busy with people having a nice time. It looks far better than the old CPT did too. In my view this is an improvement. The alternative would probably have been another sad dead pub converted into flats. More often than not when I get home to East Dulwich I thank the lord I live here.
