  1. would like to offer another recommendation for Will Westwood. Comforting to know there?s someone local that can lessen my back pain quickly. Very professional, works with you and great with recommending helpful exercises for home. What i do appreciate very much in comparison to other osteopaths i have seen over the years, is Will doesn?t encourage further sessions beyond what?s appropriate or necessary.

  4. so just had a listen outside and a walk around the top of road into Thornecombe and Tarbet road. It's 100% coming from either the garden or a house on Tarbet road backing on to the gardens of Trossachs. It's very loud at the bottom of my garden and to the left. Neighbours must be hearing it too so I might enquire with some!
  5. that's interesting ianr.......I can definitely say it's not within my flat plus, as the volume goes down when I shut my window and goes up when I open it and very loud in my garden. I have to be honest and say I was glad that it can be heard on recording as I have had a few moments when I thought it was in my head! I will try the tube idea if it starts up again tonight. I have been out so not heard it....yet! I may also take a walk out if it wakes me to see if I can get a better pinpoint too.
  6. yes! Driving me absolutely mad. I am so tired. Thank you.
  7. Just to give an idea of night time noise. Maybe this is a fox deterrent....but if I can hear it and record the sound as in my first post then surely it isn't sonic? 0024 - 0028 0312-0317 0321- 0324 0425 0435 Basically not a good nights sleep!
  8. it's not all the time, just periodically through day and night, but definitely every day!!! Maybe I should post on here when it starts and you can have a listen outside :-D
  9. I don't think so no, it's a very stable continuous tone. I might have to actually get outside and see if I can follow where it comes from. It is very annoying and although I am not ready to do any gardening yet, it would drive me crazy if I was. I usually have my bedroom window open a bit at night, whatever the weather, but I can't with this noise and even with window closed if it is happening when I am trying to get to sleep I have to put on a sleep app to drown it out!
  10. seems a bit odd that it goes off during day time and night time at intermittent / irregular times though? I am not familiar with them but it is very loud and very disturbing at night. I wouldn't say that it is sonic at all. This reminds me of an industrial refrigeration unit whine
  11. Wondered if anyone else is hearing this loud quite high pitched noise that occurs during daytime and at night and through the night. It's loud enough to be heard through double glazing. I have recorded it, so it's not in my head. ;-) http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=09155437182489084179 Anyone know what it could be? I wondered if it was something to do with all the school building work.
  12. Update and resolved. Seems it's not possible to post the name of the sportswear brand beginning with A and ending in s

    Ask Admin

Hi Admin, I have put another query about this up but I am eager to get a free item post put up in relevant board. I have tried two different browsers, checked photo upload size, hosted photo externally but still unable to post. I keep getting taken back to the advert after I press post message. I wondered if there might be a combination of words or letters that I might have in my advert which would stop it? Update - seems that I am not allowed to post the brand name of a sportswear beginning with A and ending in S
  14. although I seem to have posted here fine!
  15. Have tried several times to post in the for sale section. Tried two different browsers in case that was the issue. Photo is of right size and I cannot find anything else that would prevent posting. When I press post message it takes me back to a page with my post as if I haven't posted it. Can anyone help please?
  16. I was over in Somerset a week or so ago and witnessed a scarm where my Mum lives. I checked on the bee association website and found several beekeepers who come out to collect. A few hours after swarming they were safely on their way to a new home. It's the second time I've done this and watching collection is fascinating.
  17. I've made complaints before, official and unofficial. Apologies and promises. Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What? 18. I did have this a few years ago with regular postie and had to complain as it happened twice with a moonpig card I had ordered for my daughters birthday. I caught him doing it second time, complained at sorting office. It's not the same person at moment though.
  19. Letters have been around twice in last 7 days or so
  20. Wondered if anyone else is having this issue? Christmas cards and other mail is being folded to go through my letterbox which I really don't understand as it's 9.5 inches long. (Yes, I sadly measured!) Okay, it's not end of world but it's frustrating as cards are damaged.
  21. Hahaha.....yes, I might get more than I bargain for, but hey....you only live once and I'm an open minded guy!
  22. Thank you!
  23. Thank you Angelina, I'm going to have a shot at some of those ideas!
  24. I bought a 'leather' sofa from here a little while ago. All okay for a few weeks then I noticed it was getting sticky on the seat parts. It is now unusable without a cover. Have done some research and it appears this might be particular to bicast leather. Obviously I would like to trust the sellers about this, as I was lead to believe it was 100% leather but since I did text them asking how they used to clean it, with no response forthcoming, I am guessing that I might have been duped. Leather cleaning products are really pricey, there are so many different ones, and it was a struggle to cough up the ?100 I paid for it...I just wanted something lovely and comfortable for a change instead of old and tired. If anyone has some advice, then I would be really grateful. Thanks in advance. :-)
  25. hello, I saw a black cat like this on Trossachs Road last night. It was a bit timid and miaowed at me but didn't run away. I haven't seen one on this road and stopped to 'talk' to it. Might be worth you coming over this way later and calling?
