Helga, 2 years ago I like you put 5 schools down and was very realistic with all my choices but got given a school I hadn't heard of which was far away. You are right families are let down by the current system. I just wanted to message you to say hang on in there and see how much you change on the waiting lists for the school you actually applied for. I also contacted Southwark daily - I think they got so fed up with me they gave me a school in the end ! Good Luck.

I have turned lots of things pink due to a red scarf ( that I swear I didn't put in ) has crept into a wash ! Most of the pink clothes now are fine and my daughter is happy , but I have turned my husbands favourite T-shirt pink. I have tried lemon juice as suggested on the internet and just used a colour run sachet but no luck. Can anyone help me ?!

Yes there is : http://southlondonmakerspace.org/ We are just two months old and around 60 members so its early days. We currently have a temporary home on Norwood Road in Herne Hill overlooking Brockwell Park, though we hope to have negotiated a permanent home very soon (today?). Open nights are every Wednesday from 7pm when anyone can visit. Saturday June 14 will also be a Make Day when anyone is welcome to come along and spend the day tinkering/ making whatever they like. We currently have a good collection of woodworking tools and good communities developing around microcontrollers, drones and silicone moulding. Come and visit/join!
