Indeed, fair play West Ham, just hope some other clubs follow their example. And I don't think the handball looks intentional, more reflex.

Such a friendly crowd at Horniman's yesterday!

ShoE incident. -
Remember a few years ago they tried a members club above the EDT. That lasted about a week.

Wasn't suggesting spit and sawdust, but surely there's a happy medium between that and VIP lounges? I can't actually open the article on work computer, so just going by this thread.

Just an occasional day to myself.

A pub where locals will feel welcome and comfortable would be a good start.

?Who is to say it was even intentional?" That's a bit dumb. If a panel of experts can watch a foul again and again and decide whether it was intentional, then I'm sure they can do the same for a handball. I've not seen the incident, but if a player intentionally uses their hand to stop a goal, then I think they should receive bans even if the ref missed it.

How so? I was telling you that Louisa likes to wind people up. Your responses to her show that she's having some level of sucess, hemnce the fact she's currently banned from the main section. And to yeknomyeknom I was just saying that I don't think that (maybe Louisa aside) there is the same level of anti M&S/Waitrose, as there is nasty comments about Iceland. I have no problem with people wanting something other than Iceland, it's the vitreol that SOME have poured over Iceland customers that I think is pretty unpleasant.

Because a) I'm a grumpy bastard, and b) I hate it when people are overly positive for the sake of being positive and don't accept any criticism, labelling it as people being negative. See cinema thread. Loved that show incident! -
Louisa does it to flame. It clearly works. yeknomyeknom Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Jeremy, I stand by my analogy. > > Otta, I'm not going to trawl the forum for > evidence for you. Nice bit of passive aggression there.

And again, there are people in East Dulwich who use and will miss Iceland. It's going, fine. But I think people get upset when they feel like other people are sneering at them as somehow inferior because they use Iceland. There's just a slightly nasty undercurrent to some posts. I think that's what Louisa hates too.

It has a great big Waitrose too.

(ED Picturehouse now open)when is the cinema on LL opening?
Otta replied to Ole's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I don't think anyone is on a high horse. Some people think something is not right, others disagree. That's pretty much it, no high horses. It does make me laugh the assumption that just because the area has a great new resource, no one should criticise it in any way. It's there now, and it's cost them a fair bit to put it there. I don't think they're going to stop off in a huff if anyone dares criticise them. -
Or "flamer", you dont hear that word much, but often think it's more apt than troll. Personally I'm loving your work Tarot. Why don't you start a thread about why you'll be voting UKIP, so we can have serious discussion over the issue? Promise not to just call you racist (because I actually agree with you that that is too simplistic and hinders proper discussion - Better to just highlight the many reasons that they're a joke).

I bet it's not confusing children. Children tend to be open minded and accepting of things until they're taught to be bigots.

And charging a > fee > > for each ticket within one transaction is > > completely unjustifiable. That's like saying you shouldn't moan about your bank charges because all the banks do it. How about if ONE business actually said "do you know what? We're going to do the right thing rather that mugging our customers like everyopne else does". They might actually find they get MORE business that way. I'm not singling out this cinema for criticism, but equally if they are doing something bad, it deserves to be pointed out, even if other people are also doing it. If you join a gang of robbers you're still a thief, the fact you're in with other thieves doesn't change that. -

"Everyone else is doing it" is not an acceptable excuse for ripping people off. And charging a fee for each ticket within one transaction is completely unjustifiable. -
Look who's back!!! Greetings SP. You could have popped your head in last year when you were shit! ;-)

That's a horrid situation to find yourselves in at no fault of your own. Hope you find a solution!
