Yep, 0-0 but more exciting than that sounds.

And as a kid I definitely preferred Peckham to Dulwich Park. The old adventure playground at Peckham was amazing. And we had awesome war game at Hornimans crawling through the bushes behind the bandstand.

Crystal Palace is an odd one. Many great things about it, and I love the foundations of the building and the big steps that would have led up to it, has a real sense of history about it. BUT There is also something a bit shabby and run down about it. and a lot of space they could do something with. Nice playground though, especially the sandpit.

Yeah I like Wells Park too. To us it's "the pigeon park" because my daughter used to love chasing the pigeons near the duck pond. Although a friend calls it "the peado park" due to number of little naked kids running around in the water play in summer (she lives close and loves the park by the way).

Peckham Rye looks wonderful when the sun is low and the shadows are long.
  7. Tend to agree with maxxi. I like the look of the SNP policies (no prescription charges would be awesome), bit as my missus said to me, they are a nationalist party who are currently pushing a left wing agenda, not a left wing party. Their main thing is nationalism, end of. That said, I liked this http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/apr/20/britain-criminally-stupid-race-immigration

I think Tarot is making mischief.
  9. Number shouldn't matter. Share this link with them https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/home-to-school-travel-and-transport-guidance No doubt the authority won't be quick to offer, but if they know their stuff and then demand it (with threats of solicitors) they'll probably get somewhere. Children under 8 living more than 2 miles from school should be eligible.

    Hetrophobes. Brilliant.
  11. Buggie they may well be entitled to school transport. In London it's strictly a SEN thing, but in places like that they often run it for this type of situation.

  13. What I do like is that the new cinema is 2 minutes from my parent's house, so the wife and I will actually get to go to the occasional film whilst the kids visit nanny. Hurrah!
  14. But sorry admin, hadn't seen your post. But all I was trying to do was stick up for someone who had been labelled negative without saying a single negative thing about the new cinema. For my part I am happy there is a cinema and hope to use it occasionally. But opportunities will be very limited, so membership would have been a pointless excersise for me.
  15. Not on a soapbox mate, just finding this funny.
  16. I would agree though that there is not enough info out there. I've also over the last few years seen lots of people upset because they basically choose the 5 best schools in their borough and put them down thinking they'd get in to one of them, and upset when they get in to none.
  17. One person has an opinion. Another person has a different opinion. Neither has said anything negative about the new cinema. Really really nothing to see here. Basically just founding members feeling the need to feel a bit special and claim a slice of the place. Bless.

Indeed. Sterling does show a lot of promise, but if he hinks he's going to be "the man" at a top club next year he's dreaming. And if he loses a yard of pace that's his whole game buggered.
  20. And sibling place is different. But I have heard several people on different occasions saying along the lines of "I'm only putting the one I want, then they'll have to give it to me". These people are idiots and deserve not to get what they arrogantly think they can bully their way in to.

Sometimes political correctness is actually a good thing. I can give examples if you need them.

Liverpool were shit. Yes we had a goal disallowed which should have forced extra time, but we hardly deserved it. And next time Sterling thinks he's too good for LFC someone should show him his performance yesterday.
