Kispy Kreme are okay though, right?

One thing bad that I will say is that the roads seem really dangerous. Had a very near miss with my little girl on the corner of Maple Road, and Penge Lane (which is a rat run under the railway line, which I have to cross with my kids every morning) feels like a fatal accident waiting to happen. Hate it.

Well I'm loving it. But then I'm the sort of bloke who walks in to The Crooked Billet and thinks "great". I suspect I'm in a minority.

Fazer, what about people (and there will be lots of them) who have bought properties 1-2-3-4 miles away from your house since Dec 2012. Is it fair that they should suddenly have planes flying over their place when they bought a home with no planes flying over? (not that I think you can buy a house anywhere in London that has no planes flying over)

Starting your own thread is a good idea. This thread will inevitably draw people that will say "it's a shame the sweet shop is going, and your shop will take the (completely unfair) brunt of their diappointment). A new thread all about your shop will draw no unnecessary unrelated malice from morons.

It's not the new ED (thankfully), but it does have a feeling of change about it.

Okay being completely serious for a moment. Just say you're right and the noise has gotten a lot louder in the last couple of years. What do you suggest is done about it?

The Saurez racism thing was handled badly. The biting thing I'm not so sure about because I still think it's more funny than dangerous (but am not getting involved in that discussion again). The article you posted above probably holds a lot of truths, but it defo reads like something written by someone with an axe to grind. But they've been trying to move since I lived there, so something has clearly not gone well, and way before Hicks & Gillet came and made everything worse. New owners have inherited a shambles, and seem to be trying to resolve it, so am more sympathetic to them. Someone is always going to be unhappy. Nice to get a win this weekend though.
