  1. Probably poorly attended because for most people this isn't a big problem.

I see Anelka has "left" West Brom (althought they're not saying much). I'd be interested to hear what some players thnk of him as a person, because he just seems such an enigma for want of a better word. Ever since he walked out on Arsenal all those years back.
  3. I didn't mean "manufactured" like the spice girls, I know the band came together more or less of their own accord. I was talking more about playing the role.

  5. Toxteth would surprise ytou Louisa, it has some beautiful housing stock, a lot nicer than lots of the red brick "bread" type streets in the city.
  6. I agree with Jeremy about the Pistols, I wasn't born til 78, so obviously wasn't around at the time, but they didn't really have a cause other than "fuck the establishment", and you could also argue that in a way they were as manufactured as anything else. That's not to say they didn't have a massive inpact and influence, but I don't believe they gave a shit about getting a message across.
  7. Yep, same here. I'm thinking in 20 years time I''ll bu an adaptor that lets you connect old skool HDMI Cables to whatever TV they have then, and play them then.
  8. Last 2 sentences.
  9. As a dad of 2 I have no idea where you get your gaming time from SJ, but free games are of little interest to me as I still haven't gotten through games I've owned for 2 years, let alone more recent additions!
  10. Go Xbox 360 GG.
  11. Yeah I need to submit my beer pass application this evening for Sunday.
  12. I'd be interested in hearing more about that.

They are your kids after all. What your school did sounds wonderful, but I think you'll find that a lot of schools are not working hard to promote literacy and a love of books. A lot of schools are doing nothing at all except for telling the kids to dress up. Your post is a bit insulting frankly, and I deleted my first response.

However, if a blind person has any kind of mobility skills, they would not be at risk of walking in to that road. Oh, and "East Dulwich Picture House" sounds shit. Dulwich Picture House is much better
  15. Not a surprise, but I do hope they can keep him til the end of the season.
  16. Sorted, downloaded spybot seek & destroy (free) and it's cleaned up some malware and we're back on track. I thought my antivirus sorftware would do that, but apparently not.
  17. ianr Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > It's not thinking, it's laughing at you. Ha, I think you're probably right. Yeah tried both those things to no avail. Wonder if I've got some dodgy malware somehow, but AVG Pro isn't picking anything up.
  18. Nope and nope.
  19. I use Firefox for the most part, but unfortunately in order to access my remote working portal I have to use Internet Explorer (10). It's been a while since I'd used it, and I've moved house since (not that I see that making a difference). Anyway, now when I try to open IE, a window opens with just a white background and the cursor doing that blue rotating circle thing it does when it's thinking. Then after 5-10 second it just closes. Any ideas? And yes I've done some google searches, but having no joy.

I missed last nights match, but all the comments I was reading on the beeb basically said Arsenal had 10 men fighting bravely, and they had Ozil. He has undoubted quality, and I know you didn't buy him to stick his boot in, but you must be a bit concerned about his apparent lack of interest or fight.

  22. Possibly because more women are home to do it whilst their men folk go out hunting?

  24. Arthur Facksake (excellent name), I wasn't condemning anyone, singing is good, but other times I've been there it's been a mixture of singing and watching the match. Saturday just got annoying. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, whether they've got the time and money to follow the team to away matches or not. I'm all for enjoying yourself and supporting your team, the point is that on Saturday you seemed to forget about supporting the team.

Mongrels was one of the best things on British telly this century, I really mean that. Totally cracked me up.
