So do they tend to have the back open then? I do hope so, as the main thing I miss about the old routemasters was that you could run and jump on them as they were pulling away or stopped at the lights.

I think some people say bad things about Kings just because it's not as new and shiny as Tommy's and they take that as meaning it's not as good. For every birth horror story you'll hear about Kings, there's a birth horror story for Tommy's. My wife had our first daughter at Tommy's (long drawn out induction, 2009) and our second at Kings (C-Section, 2011), and had a weeks stay after each. The room she stayed in at Tommy's was a bit nicer, with a better view, but other than that, we felt Kings edged it. But basically they are both major London hospitals with some of the best medical professionals out there on their staff. You'll get good care at either. Main thing that made us chose Kings second time round was the thought of a mad rush to Tommy's with wife in the throws of labour. As it was we avoided that both times, but the thought of that journey was not a happy one. Good luck.

I heard someone saying the other day that these new buses cost ?300k EACH. Can that really be true? Just seen this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-19605280 So ?180m for 600 buses does indeed come to ?300k each. That seems absolutely ludicrous! But I think I am the one person in London that rather liked the bendy buses.

I think that's probably a fair summary. We don't have much depth at this stage and whilst I think we will strengthen, the CL will be a big distraction assuming we get to the latter stages. Still think we've got an uphill struggle, but in our (well the players) own hands with home fixtures so long as we can keep winning games like today.

Yeah I don't think any red would deny that not being in Europe at this stage is probably a benefit. And any other cup for that matter. At the end if the day, reds (me very much included) are dreaming of a league win right now, but 4th was the target at the beginning of the season, and it looked a big ask before a ball was kicked. So whatever happens now it's been a very successful season. But I am really really starting to think we have a chance...

Anyone got an opinion on Boyd's 3 match ban for spitting at Joe Hart? (BR I'd be interested in your take). First of all, he dived, no question. But I thought Hart's reaction was out of order, and I thought when I first saw it on MOTD, that looks really bad in slow mo, but he's basically shouting in Hart's face, he hasn't gobbed at him. I still think that, and was surprised he got the ban.

I had an eye op aged 3 or 4, and I can still remember being wheeled in to theatre and the guy saying he had a present for me. It was this cool looking mask that reminded me of Darth Vader. I woke up later with an eye patch and no f!*king mask. Bastards!
