  2. Pure bitterness from Cherter, get over it. A choice between Charter and Charter is no choice for parents. This is good news.
  3. As an old Askean I think this is good news.
  4. The Minkey, they've already read that one. Not sure a new one was needed but hey ho. So MOB100 what are you being asked to pay?
  5. Businesses on Kirkdale between Dartmouthe Road and Cobb's Corner have started calling that area Kirkdale Village. I'm not sure that'll tske off.
  6. Yeah when we bought our flat recently the solicitors said you'd want 80+ years.
  7. You expected comedy genius?

Story now on BBC, and they are talking like it is pretty definite. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26852466
  10. Heard about this on R4 this morning. I think it should depend on whether it's a child or adult space. I can see how e cigs may normalise smoking in a child's eyes, but any adult that may decide to take up smoking because they see someone else doing it doesn't deserve saving.
  11. But just in case it needs clarification, I wasn't actually suggesting he changes the locks and leaves her suitcase on the doorstep. I've actually been in a pretty abusive relationship and it's shit. Maybe this woman is suffering postpartum emotional disfunction, but there is actually a really good chance that she's just a wrongun.
  12. But most disappointing, he bought West Dulwich thinking he was buying East Dulwich.

  14. It's a 750ml bottle of a high end beer. Compare that to a 12.50 bottle of wine. Your average pint of stella kind of drinker is not going to be buying that. But I didn't miss your point earlier, I acknowledged it. but the way you worded this "Like when people are happy to pay ?12.00 for a Burger or ?8.00 for a bottle of beer and then go on about not being able to buy a property in the area." Just came over as you saying if they didn't soend so much on these luxuries they'd be able to afford a house. My bad, just lost in translation.
  15. I truly believe that the c word will never sound as good as it sounds when spoken by a Londoner.
  16. "No worries" is very much part of my day to day vocab.
  17. She sounds like she was having a Michael Douglas "Falling down" moment.

(I think I got that from Joe Mangel). I like "rock up" too, reminds me of my mate Nathan, and I've probably been known to use it. "Rack off" reminds me of the character Bobby from the original cast of Home & Away (she was one of the original foster kids of Tom & Pippa).
  19. Also foxy, whilst you're right to say that house prices tend to be high in areas with "boutique" services, I don't think it's realistic to say that a person can't afford a house because they've treated themselves to a posh burger! I could live off rice and water and I'd still not be able to buy a place in ED.
  20. Leave them in the lock. Saves time fumbling round trying to find them when you're out of breath. Thank me later.
  21. As in that's where the "rock up" thing has come from, not that Australians cause me irrational rage.
