  1. I like UC. And the film "starter for 10" is great. Back when I was a student me and my housemates used to watch 15 to 1 every day and see who got most answers. I used to like that.

RVP was the man last year, that is the difference.
  3. My older one definitely had her bad patch at 3. My younger one is 2.5 and a complete and utter thug, but I think that's just who she is. I suspect she'll have a great career as a bare knuckle fighter.

Give him a chance to build his own squad (which hopefully will be shit) then judge. Man U were not great last season despite winning the title, and they definitely need some fresh blood. They just need to avoid the stupid headline grabbing chases for star players that drag on and stop them doing other business.

Indeed. Man U don't seem the sort of club that will make a stupid rash change. I've nothing against Moyes, much as I may enjoy seeing them struggling a little bit. I don't expect it to last.

BBC Website "A lot of criticism of David Moyes on 6-0-6 on 5 live. Perhaps worth remembering what Sir Alex Ferguson said to the Old Trafford faithful in his farewell speech in May of last year. "I'd also like to remind you that when we had bad times here, the club stood by me, all my staff stood by me, the players stood by me. Your job now is to stand by our new manager. That is important."
  7. England gave the urn back rather than Australia taking it, that's for sure.

Problem is maxxi even if you go down nothing would shame him in to quitting. His ego is just too big. He'll have excuses and he'll probably believe them in his heart rather than admitting he fucked up. Christ I hate that cunt!

At least he can't use his usual line "we're not conceding we just need a striker". Really hope you get rid, but can't help feeling that your board are scared of him.

Absolutely it should be included, I'm just saying that a lot of shows these days just seem to get a pair of tits on the screen at every given opportunity. There's no need for it. It's not like when I was a teen watching films for a glimpse if boob or pube. These days it's not exactly hard to find if you want it. Agree with RD, sexual undercurrent would be better than every other scene being in the bedroom.
  11. If this happens, think about the "lots of sex". Too many shows (HBO I'm looking at you) have so much sex seemingly just because they can, and it gets to the point you just want to fast forward. Game of thrones, Rome, The Sopranos, The Wire, Big Love, Mad Men. All guilty. I'm no prude, but I'd rather be watching a scene that actually contributes to the story in some way..
  12. My wife had a really shitty first birth experience, and wanted answers after, so whilst you're right, I can't exactly put myself in that position, I can see why SOME people would want to share. She wanted top talk with friends, but I can't imagine her wanting any part of a group like this. Different folks and all that.
  13. Naked Elvis, bless him. That was more than one day EP, it was a regular "attraction" for CPT Punters.
  14. Okay, I'd misunderstood. So is this group mainly for women who are yet to give birth, to show them that it's not all bad? If so, that's a cool idea. I thought it was for women who had given birth to all chat about it, which I can't say as I really "get". I think (and of course I'll never know for sure) that I'd just want to forget the whole thing ASAP and just enjoy the results.
  15. I had a ponytail and was unmarried and childless. I can barely remember what that was like.

Haha, the thought is enough to bring a tear to the eye. And that's before you've seen the price.

Yep fair point, quite possibly. There is a beautitian on Kirkdale that came from ED but moved for that reason. She has not altered her prices accordingly, I was helping my mum buy a voucher as a gift and I couldn't believe the costs of these treatments!

  19. Coolio, I will take you up on that. I can't lie, I'm unlikey to give up all together, but I really do want to stop buying "tailor mades", as they really do leave me feeling nasty the next day.

If I can go to the pub round the corner from me in Sydenham (regular back street boozer, nout special but nice enough) and buy a 5% lager for ?3.30, why do I need to pay around ?4.20 for it in most pubs in ED? Sorry, but they are taking the piss, and fools with the cash are letting them.

Yes it does. And the 30 minute thing was a joke, but I have stood there for a long time on many occasions.
  22. Hahahaha "He added: "I am now turning the experience to the benefit of hard-up constituents by producing a booklet on dealing with debt." Clearly an expert
  23. Can I ask an honest and serious question, that is NOT meant to annoy anyone... What is the point in a group like this? I'm a bloke, so genuinely interested. I get people having difficult births and being traumatised, and needing a debrief and some answers. But I don't get the need to meet up and discuss birthing, particularly positive ones.

Have always hayed going to that bloody pub because of the service. I am a lager drinker, Heineken is my favourite. Even my choice of drink makes me feel like an unwanted pimple in East Dulwich these days.
