  1. There used to be a good squatter community in New Cross when I were a lad. Jeremy, yes I remember the Goose Green guys. See now they're the sort of "squatters" that need a slap.
  2. At one point the changed the recipe of SunnyD and it contained something like 90% juice. No one bought it so they went back to selling shit.

I'm totally against squatters that take over a property (house) that the owner wants to use, but in cases like this I have no problem with it.

  5. Tend to agree with unlurked on this one.

  8. If racism / sexism / homophobic comments were not son unacceptable in today's society, the OP would have used them LadyD. He started this thread purely to get a rise, which he (surprisingly given the quality of his effort) got. Most of us are just taking the piss out of a poor attempt at trolling.

Nuts I recently got a knock on the door from the police at 7am, and was told the house opposite me was a weed factory. And to think all that time I could have been living the middle class dream sourcing locally grown organic produce.
  10. Hahahahaha!
  11. Doesn't the council still own them all along?

  13. BBC look at potential fights for the year http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/25574389 Looks as though Khan may well get Mayweather. If this happens I can't see Khan standing a chance.
  14. Bah, I'm 13 points off the pace now. Damn you lost predictions over crimbo!!!!
  15. Can I ask what sort of building this is? We're about to buy in to a council block on an estate, each block having 16 flats in, and your post has put the fear of God in to me!
  16. Spot on, I'm proppa middle class me.
  17. Is the landlord the booker? If so, he's annoyingly difficult to nail down.

  19. Haha. Sorry LD.
  20. Who the fuck is Luisa?
  21. The thing I posted earlier was from The Guardian, but I could have posted very similar links from the Telegraph and The Mail, I just didn't.

Many people shouldn't continue driving as they get older and their sight gets worse, LOTS of poeple shouldn't be bombing it along the pavements on mobility scooters, and whilst I totally agree that more older people should benefit from cycling, I think this needs to be considered.
  23. I'm just totally fed up with food shows on the telly. I mean the odd one is cool, but it seems to be everywhere. Saturday brakfast, what's that all about?
