  2. Ladynorwood, I think I may have registered a long while back under a different name, but don't ever visit because as with West Dukwich proper, nothing nuch happens there.

Keegan and Toshack played in the 19th Century?

IF Liverpool win tomorrow (and Liverpool being Liverpool it is an IF), that will out Man U 9 points behind 4th place. Which is a big gap to make up (although not impossible).
  8. He's been silver haired since he left primary school though.
  9. Unless I've got it wrong, is that not 60 per year group? Meaning it would grow by 60 a year and end up as 360 for six year groups?
  10. For those that jumped down Dulwichfox's throat (which I know is hard to avoid at times), it's not like he said anything outrageous. I too thought about the busy road immediately. Although I went on to assume they'd add another crossing, and not have the gate right there on LL.
  11. I'll dare, just to show how alternitive and cool I am.
  12. I was quite surprised to read that, Heber looks like a much bigger space, but when the building comes down I imagine the space will look a lot bigger. A new school is undoubtedly needed in the area, so I guess it's good news, I just hope it's well handled.

Lets hope not BR, Jerry always won in the end!
  14. I guess it's big enough for a primary. I thought they were talking about a secondary. Will be interesting to see how this affects the surrounding area, as I grew up on Whateley Road (and my parents still live there).

I certainly am under no illusion that the gov are doing this to help the likes of me. But it's the only option open to us so we just have to go for it and hope that we get a better deal (or at least not a worse deal) next time.
  16. That's what we'll be paying. For two years... Funny how the people that are "high risk" are the ones they make life most difficult for. And surely the whole point of the government guaranteeing 15% is we default is to take the risk away from the banks, so we should be treated like everyone else, but instead we just have to bend over and let them roger us, because they can, and we don't have any other option other than to keep paying low rent for a dump or stupid rent for somewhere half decent. I know it's cheap and simplistic and left wing to have a go at the banks, but they are a bunch of theiving cunts!

I agree to an extent, but every bank takes the piss, just to a different extent. Can someone (Quids) explain to me (because I genuinely don't know) how the banks justify charging 4 - 5% on mortgages when the interest rate has been rock bottom for years? I get that they need to turn a profit, but I just don't know how they justify these figures. surely 2 - 2.5% would make them a profit without blatantly robbing everyone just because they can.

El Pibe Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Mind you, Mourinho having a pop at negative > football...hmmmmmm When he had his first spell at Chelsea I loved his interviews, he was funny. These days I think he's lost all his charm and just comes over as a moaner. There's a picture doing the rounds of him at a press conference after the 0-0 with Arsenal saying that a team that can't score at home are boring.
  19. On the mortgage we are taking out (not the best deal, but all we could get with "help to buy", the paper work says that payments will rise by something like ?136 for every 1% interest rates rise (after the fix term). It's scary.

I've said this before about Stoke (a few years ago), but at the end of the day, if you're a boxer, and you know you're going in to the ring with someone who will knock you the fuck out if you stand toe to toe, you're going to be cagey and defensive, and try to pick him off. I have absolutely no problem with a team doing what they need to do to get a point on the table, especially when they need the points so much. I just can't stabd BFS coming out and talking like he's a tactical genius. You parked the bus. Fair play, but don't talk like it was something special on your part.

Yeah I'm interested to hear too. I was pleased to see them get that draw, until the manager's interviews, where both of them looked like total cunts.
  22. My 4 year old daughter came to me last night and said "Daddy can we go to football now. Dulwich Hamlet Pink & Blue Army!" (not pronounced very clearly, but you got the gist). Very proud.
  23. A local authority finance job? LA's actively encourage remote working because there are never enough desks for everyone in the offices.
  24. They're looking for musicians. They're thousands of years ahead of us in most things, but for some reason they've not moved past plain chant, and they're desperate to rock out. They picked up Ziggy Stardust on SJ's frequency, and thought he was real.
