Everyone is different, and a lot of the things suggested on here would make me instantly feel sick.
  2. It is good, but it does make me feel sick with it's salty blackcurrent flavour.
  3. Another shout for the Golden Lion. They serve Sunday lunch, but it is not full of families there to eat. Not that I've been down there for a good while. Or a recent "discovery" is The Bricklayer's Arms on Dartmouth Road. Used to be a shithole, but seems to be under new management and there is a little room at the back like a weird living room stuck on the back of the pub. Worth a look anyway.
  4. Fox with a victim complex! I, as you so kindly highlight, questioned whether there would be enough space, because looking at the building it's hard to picture how big the site really is. I have since been told that it's similar to Heber, in which case I'd say it's big enough. Even if it is on the small side though, you basically suggested that it would be a breach of the children's human rights as they wouldn't have ample exercise space, as if they were on lockdown and unable to access other local facilities. That is why people jumped on your posts, because they were over the top. Aaaaanyway, instead of talking about "foxy" as you call yourself (which is a bit odd by the way), lets just talk about the proposed school, and RELATED topics, as opposed to a debate on human rights, which has nothing to do with this thread. There is going off topic, and there is going WAAAAAY off topic.

Forget the little old lady bit, as that makes it too emotive. But for me, anyone living in a property they own, who choses not to allow a shop on the ground floor is within their rights legally and morally to do so. An investor who buys up space and makes certain verbal promises is still within their rights to go back on their word, but it is morally questionable. Either way though, I don't think these two cases can be compared like for like.
  6. To be fair, I was thinking along the same lines as XIX, and I've posted a hell of a lot more than either of you, so there!
  7. An old lady not wanting to live above a shop, assuming she owns the property, has every right to make that choice. On this one I am very much with unlurked. Leave her alone and mind your business!
  8. See that sort of thing is the last thing I could stomach with a bad hangover. Iusually crave goodness and neck a carton of Innocence Kiwi and Lime smoothy. It's green so t must do me good. It's also very acidic, and I end up with a bellyache.
  9. I often in a drunk state think "must drink water", but then I take a sip and realise that I just can't drink anymore liquid of any sort.
  10. Yep, necking a load of water before bed is the best way, but usually I can't be arsed and just dive in to oblivion. I too get The Fear quite badly. Not as badly as I used to though, a few years back I'd be texting all my mates to make sure I hadn't upset anyone, and then get more worried when they didn't respond. Of course they were all in bed hungover and ignoring their phones, but I never found that out until the following day.
  11. Yeah, I know that he's right, but who really gives a shit? It was just basically being a twat to someone who had written a completely inoffensive post.
  12. Why so niggly, does warned/prewarned really make any difference to the person's post?

Jose Mourinho, during his first spell at Chelsea used to make me laugh. He was a breath of fresh air with his jokes and interviews. These days I read stories like this, and I find that I really dislike him. What the hell has that got to do with him? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26123837

The Liverpool one would probably more accurate if you took off points for fixtures against the bottom 8. Those are the matches we bloody lose.

Thanks indiepanda, it wasn't the most professional of performances, but it was a fun one. Alan Medic, yiu asked me if this sing was Fleetwood Mac, and I told you it was Crash Test Dummies. The guy with the deep voice is the usual vocalist, this is sung by the Keyboard player Ellen Reid, and I can hear where you got the Fleetwood Mac idea, she does great backing harmonies which are a large part of what I like about the band.

My old fashioned hangover hasn't gone away, and I'm about to crack open a can in the hope of sorting it!

I was looking at the BBC Website and thought Man U had won it late on. Only realised a minute ago that Fulham had drawn it even later on! Actually feel sorry for Moyes, as apparently he REALLY celebrated what he must have thought was the winner, and now idiots are blaming him for today.
  18. I took that bit as a joke, but obviously can't sleak for the poster.
  19. I liked it, but it was just too much of an effort to get there that I didn't bother very often.
  20. Hardly inverted snobbery. More an observation.
  21. I'm willing to try anything, am off to buy a can of Irn Bru!

I put Liverpool to win by a goal, but can't believe how badly Arsenal started.
