  1. Mick, Louisa leaves the sweets by the window INSIDE the house I think. The shops on Sydenham Road are doing a thing where they give dressed up kids sweets. I have no problem with that, but I am a bit bar humbug about door knocking. We do answer and give sweets out though.
  2. Woolworths is still big in Australia I think. But more of a supermarket there.
  3. And now they're going to change the law so they can do what they want to other hospitals.

Haha, fair play. Too long a day for the irony meter to be functioning.
  5. I just looked (on the streaming service) and they're still there. Couldn't spot it at all on the home page which surprised me, but as soon as I typed in br it came up as top result. All 5 seasons in their entirety.

maxxi I know they're calling themselves a gastro oub fir the community, but it doesn't sound like they're aiming for the stand around the bar drinking crowd.

And it shouldn't be viewed as pub food, forget the Mag, This is not a gastro pub, this is a restaurant opening in an old pub. Good luck to them. Not that I'll be visiting, but that's because I don't really do eating out, nothing against them.

You scored 21 out of a possible 60 Snuck out for a pie and a pint of any old lager.
  9. Having lived in the pool that doesn't surprise me at all. And I love the place by the way.

  11. I've got one of these you can have for ?20 if it's any good to you http://www.preciouslittleone.com/product-information/97/4680/phil-and-teds-cocoon-%28apple%29/?gclid=CICkrOD5uboCFbLJtAodeyQAcg Pro: Best thing I ever bought when baby number 2 arrived. Not so much for actual travel in the P&T (although that was fine), but more because she was so comfy in it, and slept so well in it. In the evenings I could put her in it, hold it like a sports bag by the handles, and gently rock her to sleep. I loved that bloody thing! Never ever used a moses basket or carry cot once we had this. Con: Not big enough, so outgrown sooner than I'd have liked (and she wasn't an especially big baby)
  12. This is where you people with routines suffer. We have no routine, so we just suffer all the time. But I'd rather an early morning than having to watch Peppa Pig at 9pm when you've just run out of patience and good cheer.
  13. Happy with that.

Jah Lush has been going to the Lane a lot this season, and was there yesterday. AVB was talking to you man. Cheer the fuck up! ;-)

I thought the '87 storm was extratropical > (but reached cyclone speeds?)? Maybe. I always thought it was just down to classification based on wind speeds. And for the record, they have downgraded tonight's forcast from hurricane to strong winds. Think we're looking at 30-40mph as opposed to pushing 100.
  19. I am not buying her a new console!!! ;-)

I'm not even thinking of Liverpool as title contenders. Of course if they're still pushing in January I may change my tune, but right now I'd take 4th so we can offer Suarez champs league football and keep him.

I too avoided the results til MOTD yesterday. Don't want to get carried away at this stage about Liverpool, but am starting to think top 4 is a real possibility. They've always struggled with consistency though, so just taking it a week at a time.
  22. Yes it was classed as a hurricane. Chimneys had to come off our roof after, but nothing major. Think steveo wins first prize.
  23. Don't kike that blocky thang. And she was a bit "what's the point" when she saw it on telly. Don't think she'll be interested in building a house for a character, which is why I'm not convinced by sims. Is there anything like pikmin?
  24. Recommendations wanted. Mrs Otta has said she might like to get herself a game for the xbox, but I don't know what to recommend because I'm not in to her kind of thang. Basically she really liked Pikmin on the old Nintendo, and she probably likes the likes of Sim City. Anyone got any recommendations for games like that? I thought about Sims 3, but not sure she'd dig that.
