"Otta, the peeps who use the high-end stuff for actual real work (as opposed to playing Boggle, sending emails and flicking themselves off) are usually quite reticent when it comes to 'rushing out' to buy a new release. I certainly don't want one or need one any time soon." I'm sure you're right *bob*. I was thinking more ipad / ipod / iphone. I know quite a few graphic designers who use MACS simply because they're the best for their work. I have no problem with that, and would do the same. If I had the dosh I'd buy myself a MAC with all the music software I could get. As it is, I make to with Garage Band on an Ipod Touch 5th Gen, which works as well as an ipad, but is fiddly due to the small screen. I wish Android would up their game in the music app department, as I much prefer my S3 as a piece of kit, but so long as Apple are the only ones who can release this type of thing, you can't argue with that. I still don't like them as a company though. And I know companies are about money, but there's being about money and there's being about money. Not sure that makes any sense.
