  1. Much better today, we gave her one Movicol this morning in 65ml of water, and she's had a couple of hundred ml or either water or fresh squeezed OJ. Things seem to be moving a bit. We've had ongoing issues with her, and are taking her to see someone in a couple of weeks. It's meant we've had absolutely no joy with potty training, which I don't really mind, but I want it done in the next 9 months before she starts school, as I don't want her teased by other kids for wearing nappies.
  2. West Brom 2 Fulham 1 Man City 3 Stoke 2 Swansea 1 Aston Villa 2 Tottenham 1 Reading 2 (doubtful, but I could do with the bonus points if it comes through) West Ham 2 Norwich 1 Wigan 1 Man Utd 1 Southampton 1 Arsenal 2 Chelsea 4 QPR 1 Liverpool 3 Sunderland 0 Newcastle 2 Everton 1 (Ba to score?)
  3. By the way, how did the mathmatical genius get over his constipation? He worked it out with a pencil! Heh heh.
  4. Saffron, she just doesn't drink much, and her eating is hit and miss to be honest. Such a shame as she used to be well up for anything. Have gotten lots of OJ and water down her via a syringe game, and slowly but surely we're getting somewhere.
  5. My poor 3.5 year old has been in terrible pain last night and today, was just wondering if anyone had any tips. Laxatives not an option because she doesn't drink enough and last time they caused her agony!

    Bipolar

I know a couple of people with it, and staying on your meds is key. Where CBT could be useful is in "training" a person to avoid behaviour which sets them off. If they feel meds aren't working, they should discuss it with the GP as there are several different options, and maybe she's on the wrong drugs for her...

I'm not so sure CBT is the way to go for this condition, it tends to concentrate more on specifics.
  8. Love/Hate relationship of the year(s) = Quids & Strafer.
  9. "The Quo weren't shrinking violets back in the day. They once made a 'guest appearance' in a porn mag in the 70's. And Francis and the boys liked nothing better than a good communal 'polish'... " Other than the "communal" part, I see nothing that suggests they are not fine role models.
  10. Hahahaha!
  11. BBC reporting that Demba Ba is in talks with Everton, and Moyes has tweeted about the player so looks like it may happen. Can't believe other clubs haven't gone in for him, he'll be a great signing for the toffees!
  12. And stop cheating.
  13. Yep, fair play to Walcott, he didn't make the most of going down, back to his feet and a great goal. The Spurs boss even admitted that Defoe had gone down easily, but he pointed out that he wasn't booked and Bale was, so Bale is apparently being targetted by refs. Poor boy. And before anyone says it, yes I know a few Liverpool players have been known to swan dive, as have players from pretty much any team at one time or another. I just wish they'd man up a bit!
  14. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20866012 So according to Bale, if you are touched at all, you have been fouled and it's fine to throw yourself to the floor... Great player, but embarrassing himself, and doesn't seem to get it.
  15. Would it not be less hassle to just plug a keyboard in to the iPad and type your notes / minutes?

  17. " Although I'm a bit worried that they both play in a rock band, shouldn't you be spitting and snarling a bit more chaps?" Although our music is much rockier, I see myself as more like a geezer out of Quo.

I have enjoyed all of Damages, but I still think the first 2 seasons were easily the strongest. I've now done season 1 of Homeland, and thought it was pretty good. Half way through season 2, and after a promising start, I am starting to worry it's going to get shit.

  20. Do you mean Macari's? One with quite an old skool look to the shop front, sells lots of vintage Les Pauls?

  22. Typical Liverpool, just when I think they're making genuine progress they drop 6 points to Villa and Stoke with awful defending. Although to be fair to Stoke, they were good, and we never get a bloody result against them!
  23. PD, just walk away from this thread, it makes you angry and they have openly said they are trying to wind you up. Not worth spoiling your Christmas over!
  24. Well we got it yesterday and it's a hit. I'm really impressed with it Can see us spending a bit on apps over time but not straight away. I reckon it should be popular for quite a long time.
