  1. Don't get me wrong, I think Walcott has lots of potential as a front man, and maybe the signing of the year for the gunners. I just dislike the way he's gone about his bussiness. He was interviewed after a match a couple of weeks back, and I just thought "you arrogant little turd". Shame, because I've always wanted to see him do well.
  2. I see Walcott has finally signed a new deal, worth ?100k a week. If I was a gooner, I don't think I'd be particularly pleased with the way he held the club to ransom, jumped up little shit. Lets hope he can do what he thinks he can do and become the new Henry...
  3. Twiglets. Lots of Twiglets! Have lots of Jack Daniels in the cupboard, but don't tend to drink spirits at home very much.
  4. I know Strafer, I posted that partly hoping that Fear & Boozing still lurks occasionally ;-) But I do think it's pretty darn shitty of the club, and I am less inclined to hope they stay up now, lets put it that way.
  5. Shocking from Southampton, hope they go down now!
  6. Liverpool 3 Norwich 1 Man City 3 Fulham 0 Newcastle 1 Reading 1 Swansea 2 Stoke 2 West Ham 2 QPR 2 Wigan 2 Sunderland 1 West Brom 2 Aston Villa 0 Chelsea 2 Arsenal 2 Tottenham 2 Man Utd 2 Southampton 1 Everton 3 So, 2 all draws seem to be my thing for this weekend.
  7. I was very much cassette, was late to CDs, and didn't have much vinyl at all. Cassette - Bad - Michael Jackson Vinyl - Smells like teen spirit - Nirvana CD - 99% sure it was Siamease Dream - Smashing Pumpkins Download - Absolutely no idea, but would have been free from Napster in about '99.
  8. Get all the varnish off and make it look as crap as possible. Take it to Northcross Road, and some div will pay you a fortune for it.

not that I have ever bought burgers from lidl, I just wanted them not to be guilty. Oh well.

Oh, I thought it was Tesco and Iceland.
  11. I think the point is that Minder would agree with you. The existing emergency services dealt with it very well.

    My Lidl Pony

Excellent work with the title! Although I was pleased to see Lidl wasn't actually involved (unless I've missed something). Don't really see what all the fuss is about. I remember when I was in Australia, foolishly saying to my mate "what the f**ks a roo sausage?" He looked at me (quite understandably) like I was a moron. Then it dawned on me, and I felt reluctant to buy them. Later that day after a couple of beers by the pool, I barely noticed the difference at the barbie.
  14. DJKQ beat me to the punch. When you consider that in many cases we are talking about totally unskilled work, there are only so many jobs to go round. I do agree though MM, much better to start in a rubbish job (if you can get one) and work your way up, than to just not bother.

Yeah, silly fool, serves him right eh. Bloody Hell MM, I know as fact your a decent sort of a chap, but sometimes your posts come over pretty cold.

That depends on the circumstances. Rosie's point about JSA is interesting. You can't blame people for not wanting to take little jobs if it will basically tip them over the tax threshold and they're worse off. They should make JSA Tax Exempt so that any bit of money you earn is actually worth getting out of bed for.

    Which section was that?
  18. Oh no, we're talking dunking aren't we. My teeth aren't that weak!
  19. I do like a Ginger Nut, but always fear I'll lose a tooth!

I was taking that as read. For the record, I basically agree with DJKQ's last post, I just wasn't sure about the unemployed paying tax comment.
  21. Even if a school doesn't have to teach the NC, they need to prepare their students for the exams that the exam boards set, which will basically be based on the NC, so you'll find that they basically follow a similar line. If they didn't, their results would be shit, and they would fail.
  22. Yeah, possibly at the O2. That will be a cracker, which really could go either way. Although I'd go Froch just because he'll be so hungry to "avenge" his loss, and because he'll be the home fighter.
  23. Comb Haven just outside of Hastings is nice, and the caravans are very posh (ours was nicer than our house!)
  24. (although the unemployed do pay taxes, and the benefits they receive count towards taxable income too). What tax do they pay?
  25. Now this is just bizarre! m.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/21037321
