If we did have these new holidays, is there anything to stop us moving maybe the early May holiday to a later date, or are they somehow fixed?

Well even my Arsenal supporting mates are a bit stunned by that. But if Wenger tells his players that the final will be his last match, you never know what they might pull out of the hat for him... Either that or they lose, he stays, and the fans carry on being frustrated.

So who do we want to win tomorrow for the best final? I quite fancy an Arsenal Chelsea final. Torn in a way. Don't really want Arsenal winning things, but would like Wenger to be able to go out on a high...

    I like Ruth Davidson.
  5. Agree with that. Sorry I've not read the whole thread, so what exactly are the current terms?
  6. I should add though that I made that comment based only on the rate of pay. The no sick pay and stuff like that is disgusting.

I certainly have. So you went in to it knowing your terms and conditions then? Don't get me wrong here, I am not against the staff, good luck to them. I am just not so passionately with them as I might be in other circumstances.

Don't get me wrong, I'[m not too bothered about the gender, I just have a feeling it's time for a female Labour leader. Umunna's biggest problem for me is that he's too London. I think right now that he'll just be seen as a metropolitan elite. I hate that phrase, but it's definitely thrown around a lot right now. I can't actually think of many better Tory MPs either. Not just saying that to have a dig, my point is that the current crop of MPs across the board are pretty poor. I guess there's always Hil;ary Benn, he strikes me as his own man, not his father's natural heir.

Yep, really not very bright a lot of them.
  10. I was too young for the sunday lunchtime hours. But rememver my sister and I being taken to the CPT for a couple of lemonades, then home for a roast, then in the summer up to Peckham Rye bandstand to meet the pub crowd. Happy memories.
  11. Lewis still at it yesterday. Apparently he's been called bad bad names.

She was my original choice in 2015, and I wish I'd stuck with her. Not that it would have made a difference, but I'd sleep better.
  13. I'm too scared to cycle in London these days (although I do have less than perfect eyesight, so that does give me extra pause for concern. Even if everyone does what they are supposed to do, mistakes do happen and on a bike you're just so vulnerable. Shame, as I'd love to cycle to work, and often consider getting a new bike and doing just that. But always arrive at the same conclusion. Walking is safer.

For the record, I couldn't give a shit if he thinks gay sex is a sin or not, I think it's completely irrelevent so long as he fights for equality. But when I think of evangelical types, I think of how Glen Hoddle lost the England job, andI worry about that sort of nonsense.

  17. Wow, 11 days after I last posted on this thread, Lewis still mentioning my username on twitter. Lewis (I'm sure you're reading), I've never hidden, a few years ago nearly everyone on this forum knew who I was, there were photos everywhere, and people met up in "real life". Before "otta" I was knbown as "keef" (can you guess what my name might be?) All anyone on here is doing is exposing your group's half truths and outright lies. I only joined in bcause the whole thing is so ridiculous and made me laugh. Mate, the twitter stuff is not intimidating or scary, it's just weird, creepy, and a bit sad. Stop it.

This is absolutely classic, cyclist won't accept that some people cycle like complete cnuts and get themselves hurt or killed, and driver thinks all cyclists are to blame for everything. Both parties end up looking like dicks. Sorry but have a word with yourselves. Hope this bloke is recovering.
  19. That's not what she said though titch. You've quoted her right there in your post.

I too have some doubts over Farron due to his potentially odd beliefs, and would welcome a bit of clarity.

Been listening to this LOADS in the past couple of weeks, since zooming through the season. Guy's voice is phenomenal, as are his band. Anyone that likes music should watch this.
  22. Can you let us know when you're going to unleash spoilers please. My point was that I am only on season 2, and I don't want to know anything about season 4. Thanks.

As someone who voted for Corbyn first time round, then quickly realised my mistake, I just want this whole sorry mess done with.
