  1. busybee, What area? Any idea what school he's from? Any details on the attacks, are they verbal, physical, are weapons used? I'm not dismissing you at all, but this is all a bit vague, and details would help.
  2. vigilant not vililent :-$
  3. Am I missing something here? I haven't looked at other posts, beause I can't be bothered, but what has someone advertising their business got to do with the same person starting a thread asking for people to be vililent, and report things to the police? Also, I think "this post isn't about me" was referring to THIS thread, not the one about the business. I agree that the original post could do with a lot more detail.
  4. Come on people, don't take the p!ss.
  5. Any Canon or Nikon will be decent. When I got mine (a while back now) it was the number 1 best buy in Which?, and actually not madly expensive, so there are good affordable cameras out there.
  6. I'm in Sydenham, which is Lewisham council. Most people on my street out their bin out on the pavement in the mornings, but on occasions that I've forgotten, they come and get them. When they're emptied, they leave them on the pavement by my gate, and in my opinion, this is a good service. To go back in to each front garden, and replace the bins exactly, would take an age, and basically cost a whole lot more.
  7. Being as you are completely hypothesising, allow me to try one. If the puppy had been a child, and the staffie escaped accidently, and attacked it, would it matter if the child was unhurt, or should the staf be destroyed because basically it has shown that it is capable of attacking a child?
  8. Tippee Toes is a musical group. Probably a bit young, but if s/he likes songs, they could sit on your lap and clap along.
  9. Fair enough edcam, but I hadn't meant to bait anyone. I'm genuinely not sure how this thread got the way it did.
  10. I'm not sure your average witch puts themselves "out there" in quite the way Mr H did on this thread. He then said that everyone had insulted him?!?
  11. Those are massive acheivments though, I was talking about single results. Don't get me wrong, I'm always up for bragging over Man U, but bragging too much over one result can come back to burn you.
  12. Bragging rights last 1 WEEK. Once they've played again in the league, it's old news. Was funny though.
  13. Spot on Mick!
  14. We've all clearly got too much time on our hands. I get why you'd want a separate section, but then the new parents who need your advise and support, through scary times, would lose out.
  15. Damian, were customers honestly being turned away because of the buggies? I find it hard to believe that if someone had come in wanting a table, that the staff wouldn't have asked the ladies to shift the buggies a bit. It seems you've seen them, tutted indignantly, and decided it was an issue.
  16. Doctor told is that all the treatments were not worth touching. A friend advised joking baby face down, lying along your arm, so their bum is at Tue crook of your arm, and their head is near your hand. Worked for me, but your arm gets pretty tired!
  17. If my cafe was in an area like East Dulwich, I'd accept that it wad par for the course. It's good of you to get so wound up on behalf of the business owner.
  18. Well said Melbournite!
  19. The OP hasn't acted like an aggressive nutter. Sometimes kids cry Damian. I suspect even you did as a nipper. Do you also believe mothers should get off buses if their children start to cry?
  20. Co sleeping is cool, and don't worry, I am convinced that a sixth sense kicks in and tells you not to squash them whilst you sleep.
  21. No, the dog owners SHOULD remove it.
  22. Did someone (or several people) refuse to have kids with you Damian?

I was out with a (female) gay student from the art college for her 21st. The pubs had shut, so she took us there... I went for a wee at one point, and the loos were an intimidating place. I have never finished a pint and left a place so quickly!
  24. The first night I moved in to a residential training place for my job, we all went out and got drunk and got to know each other. Later that night I half drunk, half sleep walked in to another blokes room, and tried to get in to bed with him. He was afraid... VERY afraid.
  25. Damian, those were observations, not insults. If I went on like you do, you'd have every right to level them at me.
