For fans of Ted Max's work... I started THIS silly thread in the family room, in a moment of boredom. Ted has taken it to a new level. Mote, if you don't have kids, and haven't experienced the "joys" of ceebeebies, it probably won't make ANY sense whatsoever!

We found Tommy's ery good in terms of knowing what was going on, and one department communicating with another. Kings was great in terms of the absolutely fantastic staff, but not so great on things atually being done as they were meant to be, we had to remind them a lot. Lewisham, we've not had a baby at, but have had a lot of dealings with them, and they have been very very caring and kind. Just a note to say, that whilst I am sure Jo'sEnglish is being totally honest about her experience, you can find an absolute horror story about any hospital, even on this forum if you have a look. Sometimes things will be unpleasant however much planning and goo intentions there are.

Lewisham gets a bad rep, because the main building is so old, and a bit tatty. However, the staff are wonderful, and everyone I know who has had a baby there has had good things to say.

Our daughter has THIS. It's good, because you can change it as they grow, removing the harness, then the parent handle thing, once they can pedal for themselves. Only downside, is rubbish plastic wheels, but I think that is common with most trikes.

Yeah, I don't think Guns N' Roses ever officially split, it's just that Axl Rose was the only original ledt, and he took over a decade to record an album. Spice girls released a single, and did some shows at the O2 a couple a years back.

I know. T likes a couple of programmes on Milkshake (Channel 5) in the mornings (Peppa, Fifi & the flowertots, Little Princess), but the ad breaks are absolutely awful! I got a 3 DVD Peppa collection, with about 30 episodes on it. Problem is, she's wise to it, and once you put one on for her, she wants the whole DVD! Isn't Peppa a vile little thing too!!! George is cool though.

Has anyone seen / got an opinion on the Hopkins Vs Dawson TKO that happened over the weekend. This is the only video I can find, and it's not very clear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5y8gfb57n6w&feature=related Should it have been a no contest? I've not seen it properly, so can't really comment.

Some of them were funny, like the Shearer / Sheringham one.

Uki (and the songs) were in the first series too I think. Penelope just popped up for one series, and it was all the poorer for it! (I hate that little blue thing!) Hadn't noticed Miss Mouse's video change, will have to look out for it. God my life has become so sad!

Personally I don't think it looks particularly bad. Surely life is far too short to be worrying about this sort of thing. Is it putting customers off their food / beer?

Yeah another Groovy Mover in our house, although she struggles with the "freeze" element! Which reminds me, Stuffy's video changed (the original one is above, but it now features the soft play). Wonder why he got a new video for his song, but the others remained the same... At least the songs are back, it was awful when there were no songs, and they had that awful Penelope thing!!!!

Not strictly a contender, as officially the band still exists, but a reunion of the original Guns N' Roses would be a fine thing!

Peppa Pig has taken over our house in a big way, she even cries like George when she's having a strop! She also likes Come Outside (she calls it Pipin), which is somehow comforting, like a casserole on a cold day.

Heh, it's impossible to argue with your wife when she tells you what you need to buy. And even when you point out that an item was never used, you're a heartless git who shouldn't even consider cost implications when it comes to the kids. I thought we'd done it all, and was determined we'd manage without a bloody double buggy... Of course I was told otherwise, and we're now the shame faced owners of a P&T!

My daughter used to sing along to Momo, but I suspect that she's leaning towards Miss Mouse these days. It's good to have a forum to discuss the important issues.
