UDT you do talk some stereotypical rot at times. I've been loving Suarez as a player, but if he is proven guilty, he should receive a severe punishment. Equally, if it's proven to be lies, I hope Evra is punished for dragging a fellow pro's name through the dirt.

We don't really fund this stuff. Council Tax is not the council's only income, and at times like this, when SEN kids are no longer getting transport to school (for example), I think we should be pretty grateful that some money has been found for play areas! Sometimes it's like people think Southwark Council starts and ends with (the relatively wealthy) East Dulwich.

Who is going to ask them to show their passes? Or do you think they'd stop to show their pass after doing something "antisocial"? What an absolute load of balls!

Having read back over the thread, I've cone to the conclusion that I am very happy to not know better.

I'm sure Macs are amazing and all that, but for what I need it for (Which will include a toddler bashing away at the keyboard), I really don't think I require a top end bit of kit, just something decent.

Even if I wanted to, I can't afford a decent Mac, and sorry Nette, but no way an ipad would meet my work needs.

It's a bugger of a situation, but there is no way you'd be able to make this lady hand over some cash. You should perhaps arrange a more serious "accident' for the silly cow though ;-)

She did with our second daughter in July. I couldn't really have stayed though, as had our 2 year old to look after. She did find it difficult the first night, and I wish I could have been there for her, and probably would have stayed had it been possible. For the most part though, my personal opinion is that partners should spend the night in the pub! :)-D

I think I could live with that, if it was somewhere nice. They could start shipping people over to Australia again!

Hello EDFers. My laptop has more or less died on me, and at 5 years old, isn't really worth fixing. We've decided to splash out on a new Desktop PC for the family. Main uses will be media (music & film.), internet (including remote access to work), and word processing. It won't be used for gaming. Budget ?600 - ?800 PC World have this, which to my untrained eye, looks pretty good, and has ?200 off. Can anyone point me in the direction of something good, for a good price? PS. I've never owned a MAC, and probably don't need to go down that road, unless anyone can convince me there is a good reason to.

Thank God someone else scored 11! And even for my 11 I was guessing most of them. A friend of mine's wife has to do this test at some stage, and was saying how insane the book was. I hadn't realised it was this insane!
