I don't know. I wouldn't look up to them, and think they were so cool now, probably because I'm older than most of them. The Arctic Monkeys for example, my main problem with them was the fact that I thought they were annoying little scrotes, rather than any problem with their music. Hot Fuss by The Killers was huge for me, but I guess that was a while ago now, so I was only mid 20s. Anyway, I'm still 2 years off 35, so I'm like, way cooler than you B)

If it's dark outside, a child has no place in a pub. In the summer, I think 8pm is plenty late enough. I have 2 kids, and like drinking, I like drinking a lot! I don't go to the pub ANYWHERE NEAR as much as I used to, because to be honest, when I'm in the boozer, I don't actually want to be thinking about whether my kid is behaving, or safe, I just want to drink and smoke with my mates. In the summer, I may take the little one to the pub, and sit outside, but she gets bored pretty quickly anyway. I have to say, I don't get why anyone would actually want to spend very long in a pub with their kids, and I don't think it's actually that enjoyable for the kid. (I speak as someone who spent a lot of time in pubs as a kid). Pre 2005, Yummy Mummy, was a clean way f saying MILF, and I actually knew some women who used it about themselves (which I always thought was a bit like saying "I'm really pretty, but anyway). These days though, it is very much used by the likes of Jimmy as an insult to the sort of people he doesn't like.

Okay, so I'm on half term, and had lots of Gaming planned, with Alice: Madness Returns, and L.A. Noir amongst others. Instead, I played 5 minutes yesterday, then the screen froze, and I got The RRoD. Anyway, as a result, I've decided to upgrade to a new xbox, with big hard drive. Does anyone have a Data transfer kit I could borrow? Don't mind buying one for ?12, but as I'll (hopefully) only need it once, thought I'd ask.

I think the reason my wife wasn't interested wa not because she thought it was vulgar or anything like that, but just because she felt sick and "ft" (HER WORDS!!!), and just didn't want to see a load of people. Personally, I think it's quite nice to show the mother to be some support.

No I've never been racially abused, and I never said that because he didn't react, it couldn't have happened. Again with the putting words in my mouth. Zidane was a pro too by the way. I think the only thing that is clear is that UDT doesn't like Liverpool, and so will spout any old shite about them. Like I've said several times, IF there is any evidence of wrongdoing, he should be punished. Until that happens, most sane people won't be convinced of his guilt just because they don't like his club.

I suspect there will never be a definite answer, as surely the FA would have reviewed any TV Footage, and acted quickly. I would have thought that would be the best way to deal with it anyway, but perhaps it'll drag on for ages. For what it's worth, I'm totally with you on this. My eldest is only 2.5, but when she's bigger, I'll do my best to avoid her going T&T. People call me a kill joy, and say they only go to agreed houses, or houses with pumpkins, but I've never had a pumpkin, and my doorbell always rings loads! I too have sweets at the ready, and I think it's harsh to call that double standards. I loved Halloween as a kid, and I want my kids to have great times at parties and stuff, but T&T is just a rubbish Americanism that should have stayed in America!

I imagine BR will remember this day for a good while. Enjoy it, and you have every right to brag. Of course, United fans will just go "Tick Tock" and all that, but they will be hurting from that!
