  2. That is to say, if I had to choose...
  3. Damned shame. Was never a fan of her music because it was a put on voice. She had a massive talent though. If only it could have been Pete instead.
  4. I got mine between 18 and 20, not sure I'd choose them today at 33, but I still love them. Nothing to do with class though Quids. I basically loved heavy metal and rock as a long haired teenager, and all my idols had tats. Same reason Marlboro reds were my first ciggies, and JD was my chosen drink (although I still drink it because I like it, but smoke Marlboro lights these days).
  5. Quids you should be proud, it's genius on his part. Take up girly stuff = No male competition, and all the girls think you're in touch with your feminine side, and understand then. It's a master stroke on his part, and will stand him in great stead for when he joins mixed choir as a teenager!
  6. Stuff for the tiny ones seems to be what most parks lack to be honest. Still, at least Wells Park might be quieter now you've got your own water play. That is if the bloody older kids would stop vandaliaing it!
  7. Setting up in the indoor market sounds a good idea, at least for starters.
  8. Quid, Fair enough opinion about tattoos, but how can you make even this about middle classes. In your own words, 1/10 ;-)
  9. It was only Channel 4 that said it was it, not the actual company that makes it. I admit to becoming annoying addicted to one or two of the early series, but don't think I've seen a single episode in years, which makes me proud.
  10. I live the idea, and have been meaning to update my "ink" for years, but never seem to get round to it. Having somewhere local would help. So you do freestyle?
  11. I live meat, but don't do offal. Liver, hearts and kidneys just don't taste good to me, they have a chalky texture I don't like. I'm a flesh man. Guess that makes me shallow, I'm all about what's on the outside, and don't really care for what lies beneath.
  12. Lounge threads don't tend to get cleaned up, unless there is nasty personal name calling and that type of thing. This got a bit angry but not personal. And the silence of a particular poster today suggests to me that they're a bit sheepish about causing an unnecessary stir.
  13. Cool, great to see a pretty big domestic fight on free telly!
  14. Yeah it is pretty much like that, although I'd say it's worse West bound. I go on to Canning Town, so just have to hold my breath for one stop, then it empties out at Canary Wharf.
  15. It used to be owned by a chap who built up a little collection of pubs, but he joined forces with capital a while ago.
  16. Alan, if you read your last post back, out loud, and add emphasis where you've PUT THINGS IN CAPITALS, you sound a bit mental. I kind of AGREE with the point you're MAKING though.
  17. Agreed Mick, of course it would be lovely if all the birds could frolic in the sunshine, but the point here is that wherever they spend the first 2 / 3 months of there lives, the last couple of months is spent being systematically tortured several times a day.
  18. It's under 15 minutes to Canada Water on the London Overground. Then squeeze on to a Jubilee Line train, one stop (2 or 3 minutes) to Canary Wharf. The whole thing shouldn't take longer than half hour max.

I think the plan is to keep things more or less as they are, for now. Not talking about the ones in ED and Peckham obviously.

  21. Don't cry victim, that's pathetic. I've argued with Strafer on this forum more times than I could count. I've also agreed with him about things, including this. Ted Max has been posting on here a long time, and I've never known anyone accuse him of being rude / homophobic / racist or anything else. And no, I've never met Ted, or even shared a PM with him, except possibly a group PM. You've taken something the wrong way, and fair enough, if you say it's sometimes used as a homophobic word, I'll bow to that and take your word for it. However, several people told you you'd gotten it wrong here, but rather than saying "fair enough, my mistake", you've said everyone is ganging up on you, and started getting aggressive and personal. Have a fucking word with yourself, you are wrong on this one!
  22. Just to re-re-wind a but, I have never heard the word ponce used as a homophobic jibe. Equally, Ted apologised for any offence caused, but explained what he had actually meant, which clearly was not homophobic so perhaps as well as accepting his gracious apology, it might also be polite to aknowledge that you misunderstood his post.
  23. Isn't the blue brick now a veggie cafe? That would make more sense.
  24. Agreed. At the end of the day, if you want to eat meat, you have to accept that a nasty deed is required, be it a bullet to the head, a stun gun, a slit throat,a piano from the 5th story. The animal has to die. It's the torturesque aspect of FG production which sets it aside IMO.
  25. Indeed, although I have to say that I always loved Eubank. He was more of a comedy panto villan type, but could be so mean in the ring (until the whole Watson thing). Hamed took it a step further, and crossed the line from panto villan, to cocky little scrote who needed a slap. But he was so exciting with his unique style (until Barrera showed that you just had to keep going around in a circle the wrong way, and Hamed couldn't touch you). Khan is very good, and I'm sure he's a nice lad, but he doesn't come across well, making stupid "big man" comments, which just make him sound like a knob... ,,, Plus there's that stupid Bolton accent!
