  1. Agree. Never understood the desire to take a lovely bit of meat, then mince it up, and stick it back together again. If I want a beef burger (which I don't very often), I will go to Burger King or Maccas. If I want to spend some cash on good beef I'll buy a steak.
  2. Mongrels was fantastic, I got the DVD. Also enjoyed episodes.
  3. Kerry Katona has messed up, but surely doesn't deserve the hatred she gets. Mills is a nut job, and has history with Piers Morgan, and has seen a chance to take some revenge.
  4. There is a nice thread in the family room praising the staff at Kings, but it's great to see a non baby related thread in the main section. People are so quick to have a dig at our amazing FREE health care, and okay, it's not perfect. But in Kings, we have a top hospital, with top staff. Sorry to hear about your wrist... Hasn't stopped you typing though ;-)
  5. Eco balls sounds like a good thing to call your fella if you want to belittle him.
  6. Pedro, I can't see it being a big problem. Does the master chef always run the restaurant? No, they get on with cooking good stuff, and let someone else deal with running things.
  7. Ha ha, just realised I pissed the wrong letters. It was meant to be LFC, but stupid auto correct on my phone has ruined the effect. Damn you phone!!!
  8. *Walks in to thread whistling innocently* *Takes out manhood, and pisses OFF up against thread wall* *moves on briskly*
  9. Make it stop, make it stop, make it stop!!! It's like Groundhog Day, I keep clicking this thread, but nothing new has actually been said since about page ... 2? Just let it die in peace, like an old aged goose!

I love jerk chicken, and have made it many times. However, it is a lot of messing about, and you can get some nice jars of jerk sauce. I know that would make certain people tut in disgust, but sometimes you need to weigh up time and effort, against the need to know it's all done from scratch. Very simple idea is to squeeze a load of lime juice on some lamb steaks, and cook a couple of hours later. Yum!!!
  11. That does look great, and would do it if in our own place (and buing all ou own furniture), but I'm in the market for something mor basic to be honest.
  12. Personally I really do feel that over a tenner is too much for a burger & chips, however good the meat and bread are... Than again, I don't really like burgers, so I'll shut up.
  13. Any chance you could give me a link, as search isn't having any success. Thanks
  14. Hello, the time has come for us to get a proper bed for my daughter. Anyone got any recommendations for a decent, yet not mega expensive bed? Thinking IKEA / Argos type thing, but happy to hear other suggestions. Also happy to hear about things to avoid because they'll fall apart in a month. Cheers.
  15. Cool, ordering a couple. Good brand.

  17. Another iconic 80s intro is Ah Ha - Take on me.
  18. It was today but can be hard to say, as they've had problems with vandals recently.
  19. Does the Guardian sell well in the Green Street area?
  20. So your child is in to trad jazz mockney? Whilst not totally excusable, it could be a damned sight worse. Just watch he doesn't move to the hard stuff! Hopefully it's just a phase.
  21. Oh *bob*, you poor thing! I had the misfortune to hear some jazz on radio 4 yesterday, some pianist interpretting a painting in music. Shocking stuff! Anyway, if you're going to become a convert, you'll need to learn your "jazz manners".
  22. My last word would be, that if you're going to eat the stuff, I just want to hear peope say " I don't give a hoot how it's produced, I like it, and I'll eat it". That is honest, and I respect that, whether or not I'd go near it. I just don't want people trying to justify it, by teeling us that it's really not as bad as all that, because I am not at all convinced. Anyway, who'd have thought this thread would be a 14 pager!
  23. Happy Birrhday

Just thinking of that Keef bloke, remember him? Loser.
