  1. But ISIS haven't bombed Pearl Harbour
  2. No way, EDT wouldn't play 3pm matches (Foxy there are no "legal" 3pm Saturday matches shown on UK telly, but some pubs show foreign channels. Afraid I can't help though, a few years ago would've been different, but not these days.
  3. Wow, almost 9 years ago, and lots of sadly missed contributors.
  4. Usually for me it's when I finish work on Christmas Eve. This year I've actually booked it off, but we've offered to do dinner for my family and my father in law, so I think my Christmas will start AFTER Christmas dinner is out the way.
  5. Well he would no doubt claim that he only said that because they were bombing anti Assad rebels, but yeah, he's full of shit. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/syria-strikes-david-camerons-take-on-syrian-intervention-in-october-and-december-is-not-quite-what-a6760076.html

  7. Don't get me wrong, I don't think there is any harm in telling police if your spidey senses were tingling. But for me when you say "My son was a few paces ahead of me" that doesn't sound like much. So I find it hard to imagine anyone would try something when there was an adult that close by.

Don't get me wrong, I don't find it's a regular thing, and I'll always smile and say hello to a kid if they try to interact with me, wheter with my kids or not. But on that particular occasion outside the ballet, I was not just imagining it, that woman gave me a filthy look, just because I was there. Although to be fair I've heard her talking to other parents, and she sounds like a bit of a nut case anyway.

I often post using my phone. Hence my posts are full of incorrect words and typos. But a spelling mistake / typo shouldn't take away form a person's point.
  10. LOL
  11. Haha!
  12. Roughly how far behind your son were you? I don't know, this could have been a dodgy character. Or he could have wondered why this boy was alone and lost, and asked him if he knew where CPR was as a way to open conversation and see if the boy knew where he was. Or if you were just a couple of metres behind I can't imagine anyone would try anything on that close to another adult.
  13. In all seriousness, a few weeks back I took my daughter to ballet (as I do every week) and once she was in there I went outside and sat on a step whilst reading my book. Some girls from the previous class were hanging around presumably waiting for their parents to collect them, when a mum came up the path, looked at me, and immediately told the girls to get inside. Now I'm all for teaching stranger danger, but I honestly really felt like this woman was looking at me like I was wearing an "I like little girls" badge. Made me feel pretty shit. And all I was doing was reading my book, barely aware the girls were there until she came along and raised the alarm. So foxy could have a point.

I wish Diana Abbot would get a sore throat and stay off telly / radio for a bit.

If so, he totally ignored loads of emails asking what his intention was. Proper safe seat MP who can't be arsed engaging.
  16. "It's about the dream of being a great international statesmen over common sense sometimes." I Di actually believe there is an element of truth to that.

Corbynistas NOT > practising what their leader preaches. Angry, > ignorant, middle class twats many of them. I read a post from Jeremy Corbyn's Facebook page earlier (which someone else had shared I might add). His post itself was fair enough, but the comments were cringe worthy. And the spelling, ye Gods.

If Klopp gets Liverpool in to the top 4 this season I think that would be a better acheivement than finishing second with Suarez in the team. Like how he's handling Sturridge (man up!), and very pleased for Origi.

Wonder how his brother who has already been at the club feels about his brother being brought in as his boss.
