You have just made that up, what I said can be seen by anyone who wants to scroll up. I said "whether or not the poster claiming to be his cousin is actually his cousin" I didn't say I thought you were or were not. Anyway, wish I'd never clicked on this grim thread yesterday, I was happier knowing nothing about the whole sorry affair.

salt of the earth saaaf Londoners in their 60s. They also say "me" instead of "my" and finish with "like".

A cousin wouldn't > know. I never called you a fraud or said you were not entitled to an opinion. And indeed your opinion on the man is probably better informed than most. But I stand by my point. Even a sibling living under the same roof as an abused child may not know what's going on, so a cousin, even a close one, wouldn't necessarily know what was happening. That is a fair comment. But either way I am sorry for your family's loss and all the added stuff that has come with it.

Used to make me laugh when I worked for Greenwich social services with visually impaired people. I'd go and visit some old dear in Woolwich or Thamesmead and their grown kids would say "we got me mum a new telly so she could see it like". I'd walk in the living room and find this immense thing which took up half the room, on a huge great big stand. Most of the time the old dears would tell me when we were alone that they absolutely hated it but didn't have the heart to tell their family that.

We got ours a year before leaving a quiet little road in Sydenham. The neighbours' filthy looks and audible tuts got too much so we moved to a council estate in Penge where we have been accepted on the strength of our big telly.

Chelsea Arsenal City Liverpool (must at least start optimistically, may revise after a month) United (still not convinced by defence, and still could lose De Gea)

We have 46" Samsung, which when we got it in our old place, seemed huge. But that's because the living room was set out so that I tended to sit on the floor a few feet away. Now in out bigger living room where I'm sat at least twice as far from the telly, I could quite happily go larger. But I am blind as a bat to be fair.

But the de-stinging is very labour intensive.

Good post Peckham Ryu (how is Peckham Ken? ;-)) I was commenting on a more general point, and hadn't read every post on the thread, so wasn't commenting too specifically. It is very interesting what you say about Germany. I wonder what public opinion would be there...

This is getting silly. I don't claim to be the moral Guardian of the world, we all have our moral compasses. So for ME, all the people watching are taking part in the abuse, but the most.guilty person is still the person that can cross that line and physically carry out the abuse. Lots of (twisted) people get off on rape fantasies, but most of them probably wouldn't be able to cross that line and rape someone themselves. To me it's a similar line. Still guilty and deserving of punishment, but it's a different crime to committing the abuse.

I purposely put "obtain" rather than "paying". Yes if you're paying for it then you're actively funding the abuse, and I suspect you'd have to pay for this sort of thing anyway. But anyone watching this stuff (except investigators that have to) is encouraging the practice and shares responsibility. That is what I was trying to say. But personally I'd still separate that from actively carrying out the abuse.

In the interests of science I had a Boost for breakfast this morning. Can confirm it was yum. Can also confirm that I'm now a bit wired.

You're paying a cleaner around ?23 an hour. Does that seem right to you? Either she continues doing what she's doing and you give her about ?17, or she doubles her time and does a load more.

Wow, I'd never clicked on this thread until today, and wish I never had. Just a couple of observations, and excuse me if I've missed something. I'm not one for defending the church, but all the talk of cover ups is a bit dramatic being as 1. You don't know what they knew. 2. You don't know what they were allowed to say. Now in my opinion if you obtain a video of child abuse, you share some of the responsibility for that abuse. But (for ME) there is a big fat line between that and actually doing the abusing. Bothered messed up and wrong, but I still think there needs to be a division. Finally, whether or not the poster claiming to be his cousin is actually his cousin, I take with a pinch of salt their claim that he had a lovely happy childhood, because you don't even necessarily know that if you're living in the same home as an abused sibling. A cousin wouldn't know. Anyway, all very grim, and quite sad to see the home counties pitchfork Daily Mailesque posts from some on here.

This test could be over by lunch on day 3. But could definitely go either way at the moment.

I can't upgrade to it because I won't be able to log in to work remotely and send occassional emails to colleagues so that they believe I'm working spend days getting loads of work done at home.

Haha, like the video above, and yes Cecil certainly ruining the rep of the knob who shot him. Certainly didn't "hunt" him.

Wasn't expecting that. Now we just need the batsmen to take their time a bit and not get out stupidly. This opener isn't looking too clever...

10 free transfers yet to be taken up. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33691770 Wonder where Joey Barton will end up. Someone bound to grab him, he's a good player. You just need to accept he'll miss games through suspension.
