What is the law on a car parking in front of your garage?

EXACTLY!!! And that is also why we don't want just another indentikit candidate. An awful lot of people have no respect or trust in politicians. We need something different.

Indeed. Reports saying that bookies have stopped taking bets on him going to Newcastle after a load of money started coming in. So someone might know something.
-
Did Sherwood get him playing well for a while when he was in charge at Spurs? Might be a good fit for all concerned.

Totally agree David. I confess I haven't seen enough of him to reach a personal conclusion, but I am really disliking this whole "he's the left, what a joke" thing. The anti Labour brigade (I say that rather than just saying tories) are feeling very emboldened at the moment, and the "loony left" thing is seeling rags. I think if Labour find someone (not saying him, but someone) that doesn't appear just like all the others, and says the right things, then all those UKIP voters and possibly a fair portion of recent SNP voters could come flooding back to Labour. And as for economics, I've always said I'm not really that up on it, but frankly I'm feeling more and more that even economists haven't actually got a f**king clue what they're on about, so I don't think I'll listen when people tell me that austerity is the only way.

That's why I said "if they could".

Well yes, you could change the word "parents" with anything really. Cyclists / car drivers works well based on numerous boring threads on this forum where neither side can see pst their own front wheel. But what you're doing in your post is creating an us and them attitude. Having a child makes you a parent, but you're still a human and not suddenly a different species from those that don't, for whatever reason, have kids. The world owes us nothing, we choose to have kids, and we have to accept all the sleepness nights and hard work that come with them. That's the deal. We shouldn't then expect the rest of the world to fit around us and our children. I am often made to feel slightly sick when I see things like "us mummies (it's always the mothers, they don't seem to think dads count) do the hardest and most important job in the world". Really? This isn't meant to sound like an argumentative post, I just get wound up by people that seem to think having kids somehow seems to transform them in to some sort of higher being.

You think the Tories are supportive of the welfare state? I honestly believe a lot of them would scrap it tomorrow if they could.

Dulwich Park - What are the dos and donts..

Loads of BBQs in Crystal Palace Park. But if I was taking a desposable BBQ (which I see no harm in so long as they are watched and not left lying around hot for some kid to touch) you really need to be taking a couple of bricks or rocks or anything to keep the surface off the grass or we will end up with burnt patches all over the place. -

I am not saying I want Corbyn, or that I want to forever see them in opposition forever. But there can't only be one way to successfully run a country and what I want is to have a genuine choice.

Also, what Louisa said.

I think the fact he's something different from all the other identikit candidates is probably helping his cause. I joined the party in the wake of the election, but have been left totally cold so far, and actually so pissed off with the aount of bloody emails and texts they're sending that I'm genuinely having anti Labour feelings as a result. Also, I would say that part of Labour's problem is that they've let the tories basically rule the rhetoric for the past 5 years without ever sticking up for themselves. And now they are supposed to let the tories tell them what went on and what they need to do? Since the election I'm hearing more "loony left" comments than ever before, and to be honest it's tiresome. It's suggesting that if you have any left wing beliefs you're some sort of nut job. I'm not at all convinced by ANY iof the candidates, but at least this bloke would make it interesting.

People talk about the four seasons like it's one piece of music. Listen to this from 3:23

I've been quick to call UG out on things in the past, but on this occasion he's done absolutely nothing wrong. He's pointed out where the rules could be found, and he's given an example. If you must play music, it shouldn't be at a volume that bothers other park users. -

The 4 seasons would last about 45 minutes, so possibly a bit on the long side.

Without wanting to be labelled a bully, grow up and form a backbone for God's sake. I have kids, I adore my kids, but not everyone will. You need to realise that your wonderful beautiful children are just irritating noisy bothersome things to other people (including other parents to be honest, we all like our own kids). People without kids have just as much right to not want kids around as you do to want your kids in public places. And whilst most parents are perfectly reasonable, there are some (probably a small number, but they stand out) really really selfish entitled arseholes out there who seem to think the world should fit their agenda rather than them fitting in to the society they live in.

What Louisa said. Nothing to do with the government.
