Ironic really. Show me a commercial music bass player who can play the bass better than Louis Johnson?

Here's the link to the document http://assets.dft.gov.uk/consultations/dft-2012-23/consultation-thameslink.pdf Page 38 tells you where to send your comments, which is Department for Transport. Deadline is 5pm today. There are 30 questions to the consultation. I suggest you emphasise the need for train reliability and seats. Your line is in direct competition with the Wimbledon loop trains. However, the problem with Wimbledon loop trains is that they can't run 12 carriage trains and could affect other trains' reliability along the Thameslink route between Blackfriars and St Pancras. Network Rail isn't keen on the Wimbledon loop for this very reason.

Nah, Loz, only the style challenged thinks that.

A masterclass in bass playing.

In one particular shop in Crouch End, the manager gave a talk about his current line up of jeans, why they were special in terms of fabric and manufacturing. He also played some great Soul music during the time. Just goes to show how people with great taste in music have great taste in clothes. I'm pretty certain ????s will confirm this. @Ms B I believe in self-empowerment and my comments on stylists were geared towards your self-empowerment. I also fully agree with your comments on bullying and a group of people bigging themselves up on this forum thinking they have a god given right to be the forum's mouth piece. The other thread involved passive aggression towards me but at the same time they were exposed for being a group of people bigging themselves without having any particular skill, talent or knowledge themselves.

@KK See this thread http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,921668 and all will be clear. Consultation is due to end today so be quick to get your comments in to save @cdaywilson The London Bridge to Victoria services, known as the South London line (SLL), will be axed on 8 December 2012. I fully agree with your comments though there are some people on this forum posting that it's not very busy when they themselves don't use it. The methodology to axe the SLL was fundamentally flawed as they did not account for the fact that this service served two rail terminals and is one of the most efficient service in South London.

@LondonMix I can see what you're trying to say but with all due respect I think you're taking the figures out of context. 1) In sections 5.41 it lists final destinations for users of the South East Train Services (SETS). Most of the SETS users benefiting from the switch to ELL have final destinations to Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill. 2) The report also mentions some passengers freely interchanging beween SES and SLL as they serve the same stations from start of journey to final destination. 3) Peckham Rye is a major hub for interchanging of train journeys. 4) Denmark Hill have two major hospitals nearby 5) Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill passengers benefits from the increase frequency of the ELL services are likely to be short journeys Taking into account 1,2,3,4, & 5, the ELL service will not solve the overcrowding on SETS trains arriving at Victoria station. -

For simplistic thinking traders then that's true but complicated trading strategies often involves short selling and owning shares to hedge against losses.

So maybe we're about to see a demise of man utd similar to that of Rangers. Conference league football, RD?

Gardening is on the agenda but at the > moment he just doesn't have the time in his busy > schedule as you can see from above. It's a tough > life. DC has nailed it. I do learn new things pretty and often my approach to life means that I interact with genuine people in the know. I've also been fortunate in working for an organisation that dealt with issues such as housing, planning, education, resilience, business, crime & drugs, children services, sustainability, transport with links to 12 central government and Number 10. Managing partnerships with GLA, London Councils, local authorities, Chambers of Commerce, etc. I've listened to Prime Ministers, SoS, Perm Secs, Director Generals, ministers and other senior officials. @LLC, I do realise that I'm different from most people in that I'm ahead of the curve but 'odd' is not the right word to describe me. Most people are not very good dressers/shoppers and listen to commercial music so why would I want to be like them? Over the years I have learnt that my biggest critics tends to be ones who are either inept, style challenged or simplistic thinking thickos. What they know isn't worth knowing. I also look about 27 years of age and fit. So the Alan Partridge comparison isn't true in my case. So the next time you see someone attempting to ridicule, ask yourself whether they fall into the following categories: inept, style challenged or simplistic thinking thickos. Or perhaps re-read this thread in a different light.

To be fair, the one size fit all model ended quite some time ago. The Tories stole the devolution policies from Labour and rebranded it as 'Localism'. Local Area Agreements was Labour's response to the one size fit all national policy back in 2008. I'll probably read up on the UDPs as well.

TBH, Everton usually take points from the top four.

No Hugo, you silly billy, I have to go past the menswear to get to the escalator to the foodhall.
-
Well they say, money can't buy you style, EP.
-
EP, is that you in that picture? Need some serious help with your dress sense. This is what happens when you wear too much M&S clothes, you end up looking like a trainspotter. eta: Get real EP, Comet isn't a proper hi-fi shop!
-
Shocking result, RD. Everton are notorious for their poor start to the season. Anyway, now that you've got George Soros as shareholder, a few billion here or there would be enough to build a good team.

Huguenot Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > There's 10,000 people a day using this store, > you'd have to do something mighty dramatic to be > remembered by a sales asistant after an hour, let > along a day. I always get good service from the John Lewis store especially when I'm in the food hall downstairs. Staff still remembered me even after I stopped shopping there for a year. I sometimes get free coffees in cafes and discounts in clothes shops as staff/managers knows my face. eta: just yesterday I received a free spanner in the post after I complained to the manufacturer that they changed the spanner's finish from satin chrome to polished chrome. Must be my charm.

That is deplorable. Surely the way forward is to have greater transparency in planning decisions rather than hiding behind locked doors. Furthermore when will Southwark ever be up to date with national policies?

He usually plays squash on a Thursday and I play football every wednesday. So I need a day's rest in between sports to prevent injuries. I also need a racquet but I don't think it's worth buying one just for a game. Solve those two problems then I'm happy to play.

But for Denmark Hill rail users, some of their journeys to London Bridge are nearly doubled, come December 2012. Also, the warm waiting room at Peckham Rye will shortly be demolished and people will freeze while waiting for their connection to London Bridge.
