  1. Sorry, I assumed you worked in the banking industry by the nature of your posts. Don't agree with the rest of your sentence though. It does confirm your prejudices.

You haven't subtracted the news stories.

Easy, I used each newspaper's search engine to search for m&s and the Guardian had the most hits. Sorry forgot to add that you are a Guardian reader hence your slanted post.
  4. StraferJack Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Linking m&s with the guardian is nuts. I tend to watch the Guardian fashion videos for amusement purposes. It's often the case there is usually a garment by M&S shown. Also M&S featured more search engine hits on the Guardian website than any other newspaper websites. Moving on, other than your personal prejudices, where is your independent evidence which says linking m&s is nuts? UDT

  7. I can't remember the last time I bought a newspaper as I feel there is hardly any news worth reading. I occasionally read the Economist and regularly visit the BBC news website. Then use Google for deeper analysis. For me, the reason why i despised the Guardian is because I used to work with idiots who adored the paper so much. Even down to the Guardian lifestyle which involved buying food and clothes from the intrinsically linked M&S. God I hate the Guardian and M&S with all my heart.
  8. I too like to echo sagatelsagouni's above post. ???? works in the banking industry where banks are usually far too removed from social justice. Remember banks were set up in the 17th century to finance the slave trade and the Bank of England was set up help fund military building. In recent times they have caused misery to millions of people around the world. Why would ???? come to a sensible and just conclusion? UDT
  9. Another Tory showing his true colour.
  10. ???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > How long are the PS Unions and many, not all, PS > Workers going to continue to defy economic reality > and when it comes down to it principles of > fairness for society as whole on this issue? There is no fairness in society. Bankers continues to receive their inflated bonuses even though they caused the credit crunch. Suggestions about bonuses were subsidised by the British taxpayer. Tesco, Boots, Vodafone, Barclays and many others not wanting to pay their full taxes as patriotic British companies to the tune of ?25bn. Where is the fairness in reducing the average public sector pension of ?4000 pa? Hardly enough to live on. UDT
  11. What I find disturbing is when people defined themselves by what newspapers they choose to buy. As if it would make them more intelligent or socially acceptable in hierarchy organisations. The Sun has more Oxbridge journalists than any other newspapers. Yet Sun readers are likely to despise Oxbridge graduates for not being working class. During an investment seminar someone said that if you followed FT's finance advice you would lose money and if you did the opposite you'd gain money. So what is the point of newspapers these days when they cannot advise or inform? In the age of the internet I can surf for news all over the world and make my own informed decisions. UDT
  12. Actually a shop with a plan. No food on shelves means no sales. No sales means shop closes. Waitrose listens to EDF and take over premises. New Waitrose store. Existing staff joins final salary pension scheme. Everyone is happy. Life goes on...
  13. What KH means by getting out more is doing a sortie on his forum. Think Dambusters. Did you know Barnes Wallis lived in New Cross? It's a dangerous mission as you may be confronted by KH's many alleged aliases.
  14. Someone said to me once that M&S was quality because their food were wrapped up in fancy packaging. Shame about people who have no taste buds but do their tasting through adverts and fancy packaging. Personally, the standard of food found along the shops in LL easily surpasses M&S. UDT
  15. There was also another Austin store on Brayard's Road between the bridge and the junction of Consort Road. UDT
  16. One of my earlier posts seems to have disappeared. Does KH also have admin rights to EDF as well? UDT
  17. Well it seems Kleinhond/Ivydale's Nunhead Forum is competing with another forum at www.se15forum.com which was launched nearly three weeks ago. Your time is up KH/Ivydale. Undisputedtruth
  18. There is no evidence to support the abolition of the P13 between New Cross to Queens Road would improve the reliability of the bus service. There are a number of bus inspectors outside New Cross bus garage where the P13 currently passes by. These bus inspectors can monitor the frequency of the P13 service. 19. Well it seems Bic Basher hasn't thought this through about removing the route between Peckham Bus Garage and New Cross Gate. Travellers from New Cross and Peckham tend to use the route to go into Dulwich and Streatham. It also provides a link to the East London line at New Cross Gate for the residents of Dulwich.
