I saw him at Peckham Rye station!
-
Hello, Will there be a self service oyster machine in Peckham Rye station soon? Or will station staff be able to issue travel cards on Oysters in the ticket office? That would be really helpful. Really happy about the gates though - will definitely speed up getting out of the station in the evenings.
-
It's popular because it's not blocked at work!!!! And give you a real insight to where you live!

This always happens! At least once a week! -
Will tomorrow also be a "snow day?"
jocelyn replied to jocelyn's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Yes maybe walking into work is the only way. If I can cycle in 30 mins to Pic Circus I am sure the walk may only be 1 hour 1/2! -
Can anyone shed some light on whether they think tomorrow will also be a "work from home" day. I know some buses are up and running centrally but I doubt they have started round here yet. The roads around here still seem pretty dodgy! I saw on the news more snow to come but maybe it will have all gone by the morning!

Is Dulwich Mum tongue in cheek or is this actually for real?

Hello, Is anyone else going to Isabelle's class this Sat (31st?)

Yeah I'm bored of being single now too. If the agency gets up an running let me know sounds hilarious! -
The bloody tetrapaks are a nightmare - I always ship them to Sainsbury's once a month but the recycling unit there is rarely emptied so it is always over flowing!

Poor Digital/Freeview Reception on ITV/C4 in East Dulwich?
jocelyn replied to p_in_ed's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Yeah I live on marmora road and our signal is terrible. Thought it was because we are in a basement but no! I think it must be the area as our TV is really new with a good aerial. -
As a single female mid twenties ED is brilliant. Cosy, nice shops, safe, easy to get to central etc.. I can also imagine it being great if you have kids too. So I would def consider bringing a family up here. Basically it is brilliant. Even though I am single I would not really go "on the pull" in ED though. Then again I don't really do that anyway so it depends what kind of person you are. I am a bit shy :)

Who cycles to work from East Dulwich?
jocelyn replied to willma's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Hi, Can anyone recommend a better route from Forest Hill Road to Pic Circus. I have tried the Surrey Canal/Old Kent Road/ E and C / Waterloo Bridge/Strand route and it's a real arse getting down the Stand in the mornings. Thanks! Joss -
I live on Marmora Road. Have not noticed these signs yet. Will have a look out. How odd. Not sure I like the idea of it either but maybe they have done it as it is a long road and pretty dark at night to have to walk down.

I'm mostly over it now... (commute this morning)

It's just when you go out after work and then think "oh crap I'm on my bike," then you have that horrible decision do you risk leaving your lovely bike tied up in central London over night or drink and bike. I am doing about 2 days out of 5 biking at the moment - I'm not sure what it's going to be like in the winter. I fear the dark may scare me! -
Yeah so you would think. I guess that is why the bank called me. They may have paid for a meal with cash then not had the extra ? or something. What a joke these people are. Makes my blood boil when we are all working hard for a living.

Hi I also got a call today from Natwest Fraud Department. There had been a ?1 transaction at a Pizza Hut made which they flagged up as odd. They have cancelled my card for me now and are sending me a new one. So watch out for small transactions too that you don't recognise as these can be people testing the cards before spending more of your hard earned cash! Well done to natwest though - was pretty impressed at their speedy response.

Prince Phillip once told my Dad to "move the fuck out the way." Bastard. See celebs all the time around central london. Rhys Ifans and Noel Gallagher in Marylebone the other day, not together both looked miserable.

I don't. I love flying BA. But then I am bias as both my parents work for them.

We are in the flightpath to Heathrow and London City

Afternoon Nap! I am envious! I agree with you though they seem to be getting lower too.

Good job just did mine then. Bloody expense!

I was in Sainsbury's in Herne Hill abotu 7pm on Sat when this kicked off. Loads of police and noise pretty terrifying as half an hour before I had been cooing over an Amy Winehouse vegetable statue at the fair!

We have issues getting both analogue and freeview in Marmora Road so annoying.
