I can't speak for Pete. What I understood most about his interview in the latter part of it, was how much he appreciated the small things in life. They may seem small, but really he was describing 'life' and its beauty. We all once had this capacity but so many things get in the way and distract us from being content. I think we were born happy and life gets in the way, at least the life that appears to be important, even if it isn't. Pete was a musician among other things and I found this on U Tube.....I never heard of the band but this video is interesting. He was the bass player though you can't tell on the video. The one with the short black hair.

Is it important to be remembered? I don't think so as you're gone. Though it was quite interesting on leaving here for a while, to read my own 'obituary' in a thread even though I wasn't dead. We are insignificant in the greater scheme of things, but while you have a life it is anything but insignificant to you and others close to you.

They may well be if you think a human if simply a body and all its parts. But can you prove it, as you are certainly claiming all elements of a dead person are gone forever? That seems the obvious thing. Everything that makes his career at Liverpool almost untenable has been done. The icing on the cake is the so called possible move to United which I don't believe. The FAI first requested that they be allowed to be the 33rd team at that WC, which Blatter made a joke about. Delaney said in his meeting with Blatter that he used some choice swear words to let him know what he thought of him. I doubt the FAI could have afforded a legal case and how could they seriously consider they might have won it? It's sport after all and shit happens. I'm not sure what the FAI should have done but up until recently Delaney was saying there was a confidential agreement in place with FIFA which he couldn't speak about. Yet now he does. As the money wasn't going into someone's pocket, as far as we know,what should a poor Football Association have done when it was a case of take it or nothing? I'm not sure but I'd have liked the offer to have been made public at the time it was made and FIFA told to stuff it.

If you're in this area there are quite often teams looking for players be it for 11 a side or for the 5 a side leagues they have on the astroturf behind Dulwich Hamlet. Maybe someone will see your post or just keep a look out. There's a rugby club along the South Circular (near one side of Dulwich Park). I think it's Old Alleynians (Aliens?).
