  1. I thought we were on holiday for a while..........
  2. Leicester sack Pearson. What's that all about I wonder?

  4. You think Monday to Friday would be better? I reckon you've had these since 1968 when city robbed united of the league due to their distractions with the European Cup. Therefore I suggest you buy new inflatable ones which can be pumped up with lots of money whenever they go flat........like the team really ☺

  6. Will there be any boxing involved or cue fights (I'm a natural)?
  7. I've dropped people off in Eccleston Place(google the map of the station). If you time it right it should be fine. I don't think you can park there legally but if you are staying in the car it should be ok. Better still if you can communicate with whoever you are collecting and pull in somewhere where you can stop legally and then collect them from there when they have arrived. Others may have better suggestions.
  8. Well done ed-pete. To think I came out of retirement for this. I should have known when my goose was cooked. #overthehill
  9. Had two mini cuts and received a text message. I'm just curious how they have my number and who are UKPN?
  10. Ah, never mind.
  11. I quite like him. I don't know how he is rated or over-rated for that matter. The episodes he did for TV on his bipolar condition were very watchable for someone like me who has a family member with the condition. I never saw him in Sainsbury's but I did see him at the only cricket match I've ever been to. The Oval 2005, Saturday. The Ashes.
  12. Of the posters so far, how many live in ED? Has anyone never lived in ED? If a large percentage of EDF users don't live here then it must dilute how representative it is of ED itself. I live here, but if you were to merge all ED males into one being, I might make it as a fingernail. Forums may be old fashioned but I wonder how many under 30's who aren't kids actually live here. Maybe the EDF users would be closer to being representative of ED if that were true... Anyway, I must try this........blow ins ETA Did I spell it wrong?

  14. What happened in those 3 minutes Vick?

There's all sorts of fad diets that might help with that.

  17. When I was younger the cinema in my home town had a space between the front row seats and the screen, which was filled with wooden benches for those who couldn't afford the normal price. If space is tight maybe they could remove some seats in the picturehouse to facilitate the less well off residents.
  18. Or something like that is hardly a correction Louisa. Basically you couldn't be bothered to read the original post and bailed in with nonsense. The reason something on your doorstep may be seen as a treat is it might be something you wouldn't normally consider within your budget. We all have budgets, just some have bigger ones than others.Bit like cars really. It just sounds like you are jealous. Are all the better off folk of ED nasty people? If you think so you should move elsewhere. It's a bit of earth on a small planet in a huge universe.
  19. Jeez Louisa, if you want to argue about anything at least get your facts right. Someone wrote how expensive it was for two people to pay ?12.50 per ticket i.e ?25.00 for two tickets. Not ?35.00 per ticket. I haven't been to the new cinema as I rarely go to the cinema but I would go there as a treat as it IS LOCAL. You might as well say that anyone in ED who has a car that's more than you or I could afford should go elsewhere as they are segregating the community. In 100 years 99% of the current ED community will be dead. Try living in the present as that's all you or I or anyone else has.
  20. Whatever happened to stay on the topic?
  21. A lady walking by me in the street the other day said 'good morning' to me. How nice was that in London?
  22. That's true but why weren't their attendence figures higher in the past?
  23. If you want to talk about a pub, start a thread about it.
