    As Otta posted earlier, this is hardly about cartoons. It would have nil effect. Once people realise that peace is an individual thing (if ever) then the world will become a better place. But if you aren't looking for peace then it will never happen.

    So many hostages killed makes me wonder was the best approach taken to bring it to an end. Glad to read the single hostage was freed though there wasn't any mention of it in the news that I watched.

    If there is such a thing as a clique on the forum I am sure it is because certain posters know each other personally and sometimes use their own 'in jokes' which no one else can understand. That comes across as childish more than anything else given it's a public forum. Here are the lads on a night out.

    Everyone on here thinks the guy is a bastard and guilty as hell. He may well be but I'd rather wait for the formal proceedings to finish before deciding that. Not that it matters a hoot what I think.

    I can't help thinking that if someone is found guilty but still appeals his conviction, then there is a possibility of a miscarriage of justice. Otherwise what would the point be? Doesn't seem like anyone else thinks that way on here though.

    I probably haven't read enough so maybe someone can answer this question. If the girl was so intoxicated that she couldn't have consented to having sex with him how on what grounds did the other guy get off?

    My son is into porridge after a daily 16 hour fast. He makes it in water and adds mashed banana, sultanas/raisins and nuts. He's trying to get down to almost zero body fat. Supposedly if you refrain from eating for that length of time the body starts eating its own fat. So for the other 8 hours in the day you don't need to restrict yourself. That's what he thinks anyway or at least that's what I think he thinks.
