  1. She have moved from one side of the country to the other and is now living with her sister in Dublin and causing her grief. I'm not at the sharp end of her remarks as she unfriended me on FB. My brother lives in perpetual hope she will improve but I don't see how it can if she won't admit to it and seek help. Thanks for your post.
  2. As a ball is spherical there can be no such thing as a long one. There may be a pass though. Blows that theory out of the water.
  3. Breastfed?

  5. Yeah EP but on your current form you'll miss it entirely.
  6. He has confessed to being an arsehole at times.
  7. DulwichFox Wrote: > > Why should people that have lived here all there > lives have to move out. Who has to move out? Those that do are probably doing it to make a killing on property prices. I've been here 30 years. I wouldn't mind moving but I don't have to.
  8. I was referring to the apology.
  9. It's probably sobriety at work not sexism.........
  10. I agree with Loz. I became a vegetarian 30+ years ago because I was told my Guru wanted his followers to be that way. I also gave up drinking alcohol. X number of years later I'm still a veggie by my choice though the drink malarkey I only maintained for about 5 years. RosieH, you suggest that the deforestation of the Amazon is because of vegetarians, is that right? I don't have any facts to hand but I'd bet you a stiff drink it isn't.
  11. Sack Sam. Not enough to complain about.......
  12. Not a lot of thought though.
  13. 'Tonight' was two days ago Jeremy. S/he must be very hungry if s/he hasn't eaten since then.
  14. But caring and valuing are two different things.
  15. Years ago (so I may be out of the loop) the current astroturf area used to be used every day/night of the week for kids and adult football matches/training. It could also be used as a full length pitch if required,if I remember correctly. I presume that's still the case. So they would get rid of an existing astroturf area and replace it with another one and this will increase income. How? Do they know there is going to be additional demand for it? What's to stop them turning the current pitch of the football club into an astroturf one? Is it the building of houses they are more interested in? If so, once that's finished and they have made their money, why would they care about the football club?
  16. That's a relief.
  17. Maybe this has been answered already, but if the club is operating at a loss how is a new stadium going to change that?
  18. http://babb.telegraph.co.uk/2014/12/twitter-reacts-to-arsenal-losing-3-2-to-stoke/ This is amusing though probably not to Arsenal fans.

But Mr.Wilson didn't indicate what type of cheddar it was so it could be comparing apples with apples, though I expect not.
  20. Thanks Alec1. I'm not directly involved but am involved to the extent that I'd like to understand it.
  21. The P13's
  22. What does a man being a complete fanny mean or were you just shocked by the cost of the cheese? If Lidl sold the same product at half the price I'd head there too regardless of how sound the guy was.
  23. Long time since there was a post on this site. However I'm back looking for more advice or information. I don't think I ever asked this question before. My niece is in the business of blaming everyone else for her problems, especially those who are close to her. The problem as I see it from a distance, is that she does not recognise she has an illness. Have you come across this problem? It would seem that unless she does she will never recover to the point she can take responsibility for her own actions. You can't help someone who doesn't want it. Is there a way out of this dilemma?
  24. Don't watch every live game on tele but that was entertaining.
