  1. I agree UDT about Cleverley. Even when they were dominating the game today United never really looked like scoring nor did I think they were playing that well. I thought both Fletcher and particularly Anderson were very poor with their distribution. I'm not sure Welbeck will make it at OT. Cleverley showed he had something when he played that United don't have at the moment.
  2. You can get 11/10 on France with a 16.5pts handicap. Those bookies must think France are going to be tonked.
  3. r8 to 1 on. Thats ridiculous.
  4. Well they beat Australia. Oh I forgot, Ireland did too. There must be a reason. What is it Pickle apart from home advantage and trying to scare the bejaysus out of your opponents before a ball is kicked? Your best back isn't playing and your best forward has a screw loose (in his foot). May the best team on the day win.
  5. So any predictions? I wouldn't begrudge the AB's a win by why the hell are they allowed do a Haka in the WC? If it's against Fiji, Tonga or Samoa by all means, they have their own war dance. They threw their toys out of the pram in Cardiff a few years ago when the Welsh said that's fine but do it before our anthem. If France get their act together they could win. The problem with them is they are so unpredictable. I'll go for France by a small margin.
  6. Must have got my timings mixed up Mick. Sorry bout that. Now tell us.........have you hedged?

Dear Admin do you keep a record of posts deleted by you or your moderators? It would help me decide how insane I am if you could confirm or otherwise that a post of mine was deleted today. Thank you. AM
  8. 7 a.m. k.off Mick. You'll need to be up early!
  9. Is that definition offensive? If so,why?
  10. I still don't understand why for example, 'officers' would try to proceed with an event without police co-operation? Surely the police need to be informed of an event of this size taking place in their back yard. What possible motives could officers have had to avoid this? Did they just not think of it? It seems like leaving council officials to their own devices is not a good idea.
  11. What I don't understand James is how supposedly sensible people would think it's a good idea and only change their minds when the press get involved? If all the facts you've outlined regarding the event were available surely it would have been an easy decision to make to cancel it. Whose idea was it anyway? Didn't they do any research before it got to the stage of being advertised?
  12. The Rose are advertising bacon sandwiches during the match. Having re read that I should add they are not just advertising them. You can eat one too if you want.
  13. Do you classify this and the others as ED gossip Starlight?

  15. It may be an indication of how low my standards are, but I always enjoyed a good breakfast of pancakes at Denny's. South Beach (particularly the lower part) is more interesting than the North Beach, if memory serves me correctly.
  16. If this is true it's an interesting turn of events in the Tevez case.
  17. I suppose the next step is the West will have to go in and help them become civilised like us.
  18. Jesus. I told you before. The temple of god is not a building, it's the human body. Stop throwing people out.
  19. I passed a huge memorial the other day (think it was in Wandsworth) before seeing a police sign next to the road asking for witnesses to a fatal accident. I guess one aspect of the memorial is that it may encourage witnesses to come forward who might otherwise not get involved.
  20. From what I understand the land was used as a scrapyard. The travellers bought the land. Only part of it is 'green belt' and is being cleared. I would like to know how it has cost ?18M for it to reach this conclusion. It seems like such a waste of money with a large element of a witch hunt involved.
  21. Renata, can you explain why it was cancelled please. If one minute something is a good idea and the next it isn't, what happened in between? AM
  22. Is, is it not also is not?

You don't run Dulwich Dollies by any chance?
  24. To my uneducated palate I always thought Welsh Rarebit was cheese on toast. Am I wrong?
  25. I used to go to Miami Beach quite a lot. There used to be a lot of crime in Miami itself. Anyway, I remember one trip to the keys where we hired a boat and went snorkling on the reefs. Well worth it if you don't get sea sick like I did.
