  1. Anyone know why Everton v Man U is a noon k.o. tomorrow? I didn't think this was viewed as a high risk game by the police.
  2. Great article by Rohan Ricketts on racism Currently plays for Shamrock Rovers.
  3. No katienumbers. Foraging for marbles, maybe.
  4. I suppose two halves of a grapefruit could look like breasts.........but duck breasts? I must pay more attention next time I'm in the park. Assuming there are any left, as after this thread they well all be gone. Where are you getting your one from Adam, Dulwich Park or Peckham Rye? I noticed you posted the same thread in the 'wanted' section. I take it there's a duck on the run. Will keep an eye out for it but would love to know what crime it committed. PS Adam, if you lost your duck a picture wouldn't go amiss.
  5. Why has classical music survived so long, anyone? They keep playing the same stuff.
  6. Ireland it would seem. And they are pretty crap in the great scheme of things.
  7. I thought you were a Spurs fan Parkie. Not so?
  8. Ant & Dec?
  9. There is someone of that name at Southwark News though it doesn't mean it's this poster.
  10. Frankly Mr.Lush, I stopped listening to new music about 20 years ago. It had all been done by then. Have I missed anything?
  11. Here's a big band. There's 9 of them. Shame Nusrat died though. But if you never heard of him it will be like a NEW big band. Buy his CD's in the right order.
  12. I always seem to remember this song in October.
  13. FA probably.
  14. I don't think you can 'evict' people from their own land. You can clear the land of structures which offend the planning laws. I wonder should I report my near neighbour for having such a structure?
  15. You know there are instructions set down by the IRB as to how teams are allowed to oppose the haka. Well France broke the rules on Sunday. They were fined ?10k. Very unfair. Besides it's not like they were that close to the AB's.
  16. I wasn't aware any morality existed nowadays in the world of transfers or football for that matter. If a player is important enough to a club they will overlook just about anything so long as it doesn't interfere with his ability to play. Off the top of my head I can remember MU sacking Tommy Doc for having being caught having an affair with the wife of another employee. You could say that was a moral stance. Anyone think of other examples?
  17. Sven sacked at Leicester. Martin O'Neill comes to mind.
  18. Stan Collymore view is quite interesting.
  19. The 4 most important people at #afc are: 1 Wenger; 2 Van Persie; 3 the doc who keeps Van Persie fit; 4 the physio who helps the doc who... That's a tweet from Henry Winter. He's probably not far wrong.
  20. Not sure what you're confused about. Who says the AB's are comfortably the best team in the world? Well I don't for one. It's not long ago they were stuffed by Australia in the tri-nations. They had home advantage. I think they have had better teams in the not too distant past but this one played to its maximum to win. If you were to pick a world XV how many AB's would be in it?

  22. I don't agree that the AB's didn't turn up. More a case of France finally showing what they could do. The AB's defence and managing not to concede penalties won it for them.
