  1. Can anyone recommend one suitable for a student who tends not to shave very often and has quite a lot of growth? Something like what a lawnmower does would be good. Don't want to spend a fortune on one particularly. I've read a lot of reviews but not found one that seems to fit the criteria yet.
  2. Meaning what BL? FFS is..........the extent of of your vocabulary or what?

  4. Tiger, you've been around since 2007. You could arrange it and probably better than the last lot.
  5. So the CL winners will eventually be decided in court........... If this happens.
  6. Can we clarify now once and for all, I have no medical qualification. As for wisdom UDT, the type you needed was to know that you could have departed, purchased some vino and been back in two minutes.

    a joke

Salsaboy, don't you know that Capt.Scarlett is the master of crap jokes?
  8. Do eyebrows need threading if they are about to fall off? I've had mine a long time and they appear to be well and truly stuck. Must be a good diet I suppose.
  9. I can't remember what it was like apart from the drive just not fitting. I figured it could be used as a spare external hard drive though he already has a portable one. His main concern is obtaining whatever is on the old drive so a transfer from it to his PC or his other hard drive would probably satisfy. Is there a suitable cable that would do the trick?
  10. Oh, this is an old thread! Hope someone out there can help. I've taken out the hard drive from my son's old computer and he would like to access whatever is on it. I want to get an external enclosure and did get one from amazon some time ago but returned it as it wasn't the right size for the hard drive. I'm confused as to what is the right size for the drive. It came from a Dell computer and is a Seagate Barracuda 7200.7. What I previously bought and returned was a Dynamode USB 2.0 Powered External Housing for 3.5 inch IDD HDD. Can anyone tell me what I should be buying or is more information needed re. the old drive to determine that? Thanks.
  11. I suspect a horse will win!

    Manflu

For any doubters out there listen to Joe's heart wrenching story.......
  14. Talkshite presenter suggests Beckham to Man U for 6 months is a good idea. It's an interesting one but a good one?
  15. Do you mean noone else noticed except a mum, hubby and you?
  16. Would a tree seller be an expert on onions?
  17. I think that because all the glamorous teams of Europe get into the CL, the hope is that some will drop into the Europa and give it a bit more 'glamour'.
  18. Trouble with the chickens Tom? Nasty foxes I bet.
  19. The champions league used to be the European Cup, only for champions. Now both Spain and England have 4 teams in it. I don't see that as been much different to teams joining the Europa at the k.o. stage. It's a reward for finishing 3rd in a group in the CL and maybe ensures that teams play to win as opposed to not giving a damn and maybe giving another team an effective walkover in a crucial for them match. Clear yeah?
  20. Well everyone knows it's about money, but how can anyone make money out of an event that nobody is interested in? Surely the TV stations will stop paying up if no one watches. They are now going to expand the Euro's to 24 teams I believe. Why? 16 teams is about right and makes it an event. 24 teams from Europe, you might as well let everyone go to the Finals. It's all overkill and will surely rebound on the organisers eventually when no one has any money and/or can't be bothered due to being overdosed on football. BTW Laddy. Congrats on your new job on the tube.
  21. An iTunes voucher if she likes to buy music and uses iTunes.
  22. Katie9845, as this thread has got off to a flyer, perhaps you could add a few more items you don't have but would like to know how to clean. You could then print off this thread and keep it in a safe place until the need arises!
  23. Maybe you should move house?
  24. Unless you want to make this into an art form, just squeeze the tea bag against the inside of the mug with a teaspoon. Helps make the tea bit stronger.
  25. Is hubby not cooking dinner then? Well if not then stuff him (not literally.........then again might be an interesting starter)! I can only suggest a soup and that is potato and leek and get some soda bread to go with it. If hubby is still alive to eat it, I'm sure even he will like it.
