The interview you tried to post includes Ferguson saying 'he shouldn't have done that, but maybe it's understandable'.

Did you watch it or do you just like to make stuff up? He said he shouldn't have done that.
  3. I didn't actually bet but one didn't need to be a genius to predict this. No undersoil heating. Give us the points for travelling.
  4. I wish the world would give it a rest. He didn't shake hands. Wow. It's between them to sort it out if they are ever inclined to. It's a needless pre game ritual which should be done away with. Suarez acted like an idiot but he is Liverpool's idiot. If they don't think he has/had anything to answer for then that's a reflection on them and it appears on their manager. Without TV and media coverage this would be forgotten quickly. More importantly United won and it keeps their title chances alive. It also made me think neither Terry nor Ferdinand should be considered as first choice centre backs for England come the Euros. Terry for two reasons. Both because they are not good enough on the pitch anymore.
  5. I must say that I like listening to SAF as most of the time he speaks as a football person as opposed to a blinkered defensive manager. I think it's something that has come to him with age. Long may it last.
  6. I'm quite grateful that contraception was banned by the CC. I wouldn't be here otherwise given that by parents would have probably started using it before number 7 (me) came along!
  7. Good morning. Have I missed anything?
  8. How does listening to music enhance reading a book? A lot of people seem to do it but surely if you are focused on the book the music is a distraction or just ignored? Can the brain appreciate both at the same time or is it just gluttony for stimulation that people crave?
  9. No undersoil heating in Paris. Bet this game gets postponed. -7 predicted, possibly -10 when game starts at 9pm local time. According to Clerc the touchlines were frozen when they played Italy. Not good.
  10. Honest, I don't know. Is EDWG a women's group?
  11. I've noted with interest that it was Chelsea who wrote the letter requesting JT's trial be put back. Funnily enough it was, but until after the Euro's, though their season ends in May. I presume JT was in agreement with this thinking that with Capello as his guardian angel he wouldn't be in danger of missing the Euros. The case could have been heard in March. With the latest developments I can't see Terry going to the Euros at all regardless of who is managing the team. I think he will have become persona non grata in the England set-up. I think the FA finally made a decision with a bit of backbone to it. Many other sports suspend people who are up for trial. It's the right thing to do.
  12. Davies gets 7 weeks and Ferris gets off. I think Davies is lucky. Ferris getting off suggests they thought the ref got it wrong. Be damned Wayne Barnes.
  13. I think the problem with Sunday's decisions was that the ref only saw one of them. If he had seen both I doubt he would have treated them equally.
  14. Fergie will be remembered for Fergietime, Wenger probably for 'not seeing it' but Dalglish is in danger of being remembered for his unswerving support for a player who is a sandwich short of a picnic. What a stupid thing to say about Suarez. I can only think he was trying to attract attention to himself so that the kick on Parker got less attention. Why else, particularly before a game against Man U?
  15. I think Ferris was unlucky to be penalised never mind carded. It cost Ireland the game. As for the Welsh chap. That was brutal.
  16. Wales deserved to beat Ireland, though a bit lucky how it came about in the end. Both teams will get better but Wales with 3 home games to come cound face the French in Cardiff for the GS.
  17. Why are curtains 'drawn' anyway? Why not 'closed'?
  18. Probably because you sing that song 'we are Millwall, no one feeds us', I guess........
  19. I thought England looked like a new team which will take time to develop.I don't know how Scotland failed to win. They gifted England a try and missed a few great chances. Italy looked better than both at the moment.
  20. Where did you see that then? I know Terry has but not Ferdinand.
  21. THe RFU dealt quickly with two players recently 'accused' of indisgressions in the eyes of the law. They were both dropped. Seems to me to be the right approach as guilty or innocent there is likely to be some smoke if there is fire. If they are innocent then they can say it's just our policy in dealing with players who have been charged with an offence. Until doubt is removed the right thing is to drop a player, not just take the captaincy away. As for Terry's case being adjourned for so long, are their legal reasons for it or can the defence apply for it?
  22. I'll happily take them into account if you tell me what they were? You don't mean he supposedly called Suarez a South American do you? Have you read the FA report. There's quite a lot of detail in it. Being called South American was a red herring. You can't seriously have believed that can you?
  23. Didn't watch all of it but saw the last hour and a half and agree that Rafa blew a great chance. I might have made that volley myself. Makes Murray's effort all the more praiseworthy. He has closed the gap at the top. It's interesting how the top 4 men's players in the world are all European. It wasn't always that way.
