  1. That's what H wrote. It's fairly normal to like your own sense of humour simply because it is yours and you understand it. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, someone once wrote.
  2. They are individuals Otta, not groups.
  3. I find it amusing that the British think they are the only ones with a sense of humour. It's probably because for the most part they don't speak other languages and/or they just think it's superior because they find it funny.
  4. C'mon H. What decent body of work do Zenits have?
  5. Well ask him. UDT, who do you support? With your name you have to tell the truth. P.S. As you see it
  6. Horslips..........Celtic rockers
  7. Kite Runner Just finished reading this. Has anyone read it and seen the movie? Just wondered if the movie did it justice (if you liked the book)?
  8. My son must like texts. He sent me the longest one I've ever received this morning. It was explaining why he didn't do well in an exam and how unlucky he was with the questions. I don't think he could have put it any better if he had phoned me nor could I have understood just how unlucky he was. Texts have their uses. He was very very unlucky. PM for details.
  9. I'm sure UDT meant when England play Croatia Walcott should get the nod.
  10. I'm not what Pearce's logic is. If he's good enough he's old enough surely. How many of the squad are going to play just a bit part during the 90 minutes? Quite a few I'd imagine. Exposing OC to the national team environment would be a good thing even if he didn't play at all. From what previous internationls have written, it takes time to get used to it. So the sooner he starts the sooner he will make an impact. Maybe he is thinking, look what happened to Walcott. He hasn't really progressed as much as expected. Incorrect though to assume that the same thing would apply to OC.

I think Mancini might think that. Tevez is just doing what's best for him. He needs to play if he is to have a worthwhile career after City.
  13. That told you Mick.

  15. Oh. I was wondering what you were sobbing about. As United were already out of the cup I wonder why it took you so long to catch up?
  16. What happened in 2004 then?
  17. I'm just wondering what's replacing the spiral staircase. A trampoline maybe? A fireman's pole. Easy to come down. How do you get up?
  18. Wenger will never be sacked. Wanna bet Mick? Hey.......you still owe me dontya?
  19. So how might a thief have taken your clothes? I'm trying to picture it. Being on the 4th floor the options must be fairly limited.
  20. Read the blog and comments on the BBC website. No one likes what he has done and it seems everyone hopes or expects him to be knocked out pretty quickly. And that British fans of boxing.
  21. Point taken ratty.
  22. I am serious. How many clubs have 'overachieved' with the help of unsustainable borrowing? Rangers for one and maybe Portsmouth too. Fans of other clubs get punished by being at a disadvantage when it comes to competing against the naughty borrowers.
  23. I remember getting the 1st issue of Goal. My mum allowed me to replace my regular order at the newsagents of the Beano for this. The centre spread was usually a picture of a different football squad, all of which went up on my bedroom wall. This story had a sad ending though. I allowed my older brother to cut pictures out of some issues for a scrapbook of our favourite team. When completed he claimed sole rights to the scrapbook. I complained to mummy and he then cut all of 'my pictures' out and gave them back to me. This made a mess of his scrapbook and left me with useless pictures. There's a moral to this story I'm sure. I just haven't worked it out yet.
  24. Have you tried Arsenal?
  25. On a footballing front though, is 10 points not too little a punishment given it's the second time it has happened? I think it should be automatic relegation in the interests of those clubs who try to run their financial affairs properly.
