  1. Kompany didn't touch Nani because Nani avoided the tackle. It might have been a different story had he clattered him.

    Devil Cat

So that's what that helicopter was looking for this morning. Devil Cat Activity.
  3. I believe Fergie's comment regarding Liverpool's wish for peace talks referred to them doing it through the media, nothing else. He said from the outset that this issue was not a Man U Liverpool thing. Unfortunately it will probably become that when really it shouldn't. On another topic, when was the last time you saw police in riot gear inside a ground for a fixture? I've no idea.
  4. I guess it depends what you want to pay for. My OH and son went from Lille to Cannes overnight and shared a compartment. Don't think they particularly enjoyed it. Not the same route I know but fairly similar distance. I like train journeys because of what you can see, not to sleep. I happen to notice on a trip last Summer to an interesting place called Carcassonne in the south of France that you could get a train from there to Barcelona. Might be an interesting alternative, to going all the way by train.
  5. A lot of baggage with that tie. Great for the viewer/fan. Too much football is boring!
  6. The scoreline convinced me.
  7. Perhaps not in Turin though.
  8. Anyone remember starting a thread on this subject about a minute before this one? No? Not much chance of remembering something in the mid 70's then I'd have thought.
  9. It was bad timing for LFC is all I'm saying. Abuse in different forms from some fans happens at many grounds I'm sure, though the reaction from this player was unusual.
  10. Here's a blog you might like Jah!

  12. The Feria in Seville Lovely city and this week is the social highlight of the year.
  13. It could be a good dry run for The Open to return there ( to NI). I understand the problem currently is they don't have the infrastructure to cater for the number of spectators who would want to attend.
  14. I don't wish to trawl through it again Willard, but there were issues where his pinching of Evra and the slap on the back of the head for example, were initially claimed by Suarez as being attempts to defuse the situation. He later retracted on both counts.
  15. I was arsed to read the report and Suarez story changed several times during the investigation. That's a reason to doubt him I'd say.

Hardly dignified. > - had witness statements from his team mates The statements only reflected that it was obvious Evra was upset not that anyone else heard what was going on > - had video footage to support his case This footage was interpreted by the panel. It wasn't definitive. > - himself was a victim of racist behaviour How has this anything to do with this particular case? I'm not defending Suarez. He is guilty as charged. But your stance is based on nothing more than conjecture unless you had access to the report before everyone else, you were just guessing. Apart from Suarez, I think LFC and in particular Kuyt come out of this really badly.
  17. Nice one Sunderland and what perfect timing.
  18. Correct me if I'm wrong but did Otto not say he didn't know what happened as noone else did until the report was published? In which case how can he be completely wrong?
  19. Can't see Liverpool appealing against this as I presume it risks the ban being extended.
  20. FA Report on Suarez-Evra case. This is some report. Haven't read it all but will make for some debate.
  21. 1. I've lived here 20+ years but still don't think of it as home like I used to think of home. 2. Green. There's lots of it. 3. Dog pooh. Or at least people complaining about it. 4. Circular 5. The next one to be friendly without having to be 6. Morning in the Summer when the sun rises early 7. THE 'concrete house'. Scary. 8. Spicy veggie burgers 9. The first morning of Spring where it doesn't feel cold.
  22. I heard it was finger lickin' good!
  23. Perhaps you could provide a bit more info like what is the source of your TV pictures in the first place. Is it an aeriel?
  24. Typical United if you ask me. I did get to see most of the first half and decided the radio was a better option. In spite of recent results, apart from today, United are not the team they were, particularly with the injuries they have. I don't think a full strength team would have lost that match but it's the squad that counts. Tottenham looking good and City a danger but both could get late season collywobbles in the home stretch.
  25. Hey Blue, can you recommend a link for MU's game please?
