  1. Anyone remember starting a thread on this subject about a minute before this one? No? Not much chance of remembering something in the mid 70's then I'd have thought.
  2. It was bad timing for LFC is all I'm saying. Abuse in different forms from some fans happens at many grounds I'm sure, though the reaction from this player was unusual.
  3. Here's a blog you might like Jah!
  4. Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > It's okay, UDT will probably never have cause to > write a post like that about Liverpool, so all is > as it should be. I wouldn't be so sure after last night's event at Anfield.
  5. The Feria in Seville Lovely city and this week is the social highlight of the year.
  6. It could be a good dry run for The Open to return there ( to NI). I understand the problem currently is they don't have the infrastructure to cater for the number of spectators who would want to attend.
  7. I don't wish to trawl through it again Willard, but there were issues where his pinching of Evra and the slap on the back of the head for example, were initially claimed by Suarez as being attempts to defuse the situation. He later retracted on both counts.
  8. I was arsed to read the report and Suarez story changed several times during the investigation. That's a reason to doubt him I'd say.

Hardly dignified. > - had witness statements from his team mates The statements only reflected that it was obvious Evra was upset not that anyone else heard what was going on > - had video footage to support his case This footage was interpreted by the panel. It wasn't definitive. > - himself was a victim of racist behaviour How has this anything to do with this particular case? I'm not defending Suarez. He is guilty as charged. But your stance is based on nothing more than conjecture unless you had access to the report before everyone else, you were just guessing. Apart from Suarez, I think LFC and in particular Kuyt come out of this really badly.
  10. Nice one Sunderland and what perfect timing.
  11. Correct me if I'm wrong but did Otto not say he didn't know what happened as noone else did until the report was published? In which case how can he be completely wrong?
  12. Can't see Liverpool appealing against this as I presume it risks the ban being extended.
  13. FA Report on Suarez-Evra case. This is some report. Haven't read it all but will make for some debate.
  14. 1. I've lived here 20+ years but still don't think of it as home like I used to think of home. 2. Green. There's lots of it. 3. Dog pooh. Or at least people complaining about it. 4. Circular 5. The next one to be friendly without having to be 6. Morning in the Summer when the sun rises early 7. THE 'concrete house'. Scary. 8. Spicy veggie burgers 9. The first morning of Spring where it doesn't feel cold.
  15. I heard it was finger lickin' good!
  16. Perhaps you could provide a bit more info like what is the source of your TV pictures in the first place. Is it an aeriel?
  17. Typical United if you ask me. I did get to see most of the first half and decided the radio was a better option. In spite of recent results, apart from today, United are not the team they were, particularly with the injuries they have. I don't think a full strength team would have lost that match but it's the squad that counts. Tottenham looking good and City a danger but both could get late season collywobbles in the home stretch.
  18. Hey Blue, can you recommend a link for MU's game please?
  19. Hi Ruth I too associated Simon with his football team. The loss of someone so close is hard. I hope you don't mind my quoting a part from a favourite book of mine. It's called The Prophet and sometimes I refer to it when looking for some understanding. I hope you like it. On Death Than Almitra spoke, saying, "We would ask now of Death." And he said: You would know the secret of death. But how shall you find it unless you seek it in the heart of life? The owl whose night-bound eyes are blind unto the day cannot unveil the mystery of light. If you would indeed behold the spirit of death, open your heart wide unto the body of life. For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one. In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond; And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring. Trust the dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity. Your fear of death is but the trembling of the shepherd when he stands before the king whose hand is to be laid upon him in honour. Is the sheered not joyful beneath his trembling, that he shall wear the mark of the king? Yet is he not more mindful of his trembling? For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun? And what is to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides....? Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.
  20. I believe you can still get about evens on Celtic which strikes me as pretty good. BTW how come an Old Firm game is allowed to kick off so late?
  21. How did you do with the sauce?
  22. Where are the other threads? Should post there too to be fair.
  23. Got this as a christmas pressie at my request. Watched it today. Not sure why I didn't particularly enjoy it.
  24. I'm pretty certain than United have played all the other top 5 teams at home and none away yet. 9600
  25. You deserted him and he won. There must be a moral there Mick!
