  1. We (Georgia et al) were in Liquorice all night - left at throwing out time
  2. The 24 hour cafe in Brighton market was always a life-saver in the early hours.
  3. The 24 hour cafe in Brighton market was always a lif-saver in the early hours.
  4. The diary will so be eaten by the dog or cat or both ..
  5. I cn do either 19th or 26th. I dont think 17 August requires people to get slaughtered - there are so many pubs on the route that we would need ambulances along the route. However, it us also the date the Huguenot is over from Singapore, so is a bit of a given I think.
  6. There is no truth at all to the rumour that the Macmillan Cancer charity received an offer of corporate sponsorship in return for a slight change of name. It was felt that "Marlboro Macmillan" was not appropriate.
  7. Well I think that is what has happened. 17 August - Huguenot is over from foreign parts and is the date for The Exterminator The shorter one - TBC - 19 or 26/7
  8. I have booked the table. Haroon sounded VERY excited. Meet in the EDT at 7.30?
  9. James - not sure about the bath - if too much Turkish Delight was consumed then bathing may be impossible; perhaps a shower or a hose pipe and yard-brush? The lizard is possible as little Tarquin's pet Gecko may have escaped. Quids - you are quite correct, the middle-class "place" their litter, common people drop it. Young people are the worst offenders as they are all smacked out on drugs and cheap cider, demoralised by the too easy exams that they have to take and fuck-wit Media Studies Degrees they are required to sit after their compulsory gap-year vomiting in the gutters of Syney.
  10. Moos - what about 17 August for the biggie? Clan-Moos could dip in as you want, if you are about.
  11. Worked from home today - :-$ A few emails and phone calls throughout the day to give the impression of working. Went to B&Q for bigger pots(the balcony veg patch is thriving) and Asda (cos its next door to B&Q). Talked to the runner beans, herbs, toms and the broad beans, read the last rights to the bay bush. Forumed ......
  12. Hmmm - not ideal for the diabetics of the Parish Keef! :)) At the risk of sounding like a nag - do we have a date for the half marathon pub crawl? rather than Huguenot's Terminator on 17 August? I agree with Keef that 16 August seems a bit unwise, I am sure that 26 July got mentioned at some point - is this OK with folks?
  13. I think it go thrown out of kilter by Christmas.
  14. Clearly what was described was not litter dropping but litter "placing". The lady in question was of the upper middle classes, comfortably built and pushing a pram; therefore she clearly is not gainfully employed but sits at home with her children eating Frys Turkish Delight all day. Therefore, being bored rigid, she entertains herself by wandering around the area "placing" random litter in random hedges as a protest against the drudgery of the confirmist society that we live in. Were there an CCTV cameras nearby? If there were, in a few years time, we could identify her and take her ID card away, thus relieving her of the right to vote, or is that Zimbabwe?
  15. Stamps (formerly the Post Office) - Cannock The Bowling Green (formerly Stamps and was opposite the local bowling green) - Cannock Simons (formerly Stamps, formerly The Bowling Green, owned by Simon) - Cannock Fat Willy's Buzz Bar (formerly Stamps, formerly The Bowling Green, formerly Simons, the new owner apparently had a .... bar) - Cannock Cannock DIY and Decorating Centre (guess, its not hard) - Cannock The Alleyway (in an alley) - Cannock Chasers (near Cannock Chase) - Cannock Snoopys (star regular guest was Ian "Sludge" Lees) - Cannock Skys (on the top floor above Boots the Chemist) - Cannock The 5th - Walsall Hungry Years - Brighton Pink Coconut - Brighton Zap Club - Brighton Palais - Hammersmith Got tinatus, gave up.
  16. Lots of political blathering on Radio 4. Sounds like David D was more against 42 days than the rest of the Conservative party. At last a little colour in the political scene. So Man of Principle or Unprincipled Grand-stander?
  17. *Wanders in. Spots Moos and DM slumped next to an empty barrel, smells of .... wine of some sort* *Pops out to Neros* *Places two large, strong Americanos next to the gently snoring ladies* *Quietly withdraws*
  18. Are you on holiday again? :)-D
  19. Ah, a classic Huguenot post. Of course, in the good old days it would have been accompanied by photographs and verified through home-experimentation, probably on the lovely Bumbalina. They were happy days ...
  20. Tsk, Scientists! Always want a logical answer... :))
  21. *You know all of those lost cats that have been reported in the past 12 months? I have found them in here and they are all copulating at one and the same time* *Hurls large bucket of iced water in general direction of wailing*
  22. Princess Diana? In happier times, not now, obviously
  23. TOLD you it was the 16th Sean!! :))
