  1. I cant I am afraid. My next available Wednesday is 12 March and I have put it in my diary.
  2. Gathers up 'nads and by the magic of The Quiet Room re-attaches them. Applies VERY BIG plaster. Collapses is fave chair, roots around in behind the cushion and finds a very ancient copy of Razzle - "Are there you are DM, in your youth on page 5 ....... and pages 6,7, 8 and 9. Before you met James, you needed the money, with a child to support. We understand. You were quite .... flexible back in your youth" Violence and porn. Kel - this IS the Quiet Room.
  3. What are you doing in here? Get back in that Quiet Room you daft old bat, I have just tossed a silver, anti-vampire GRENADE at you in there.
  4. I dont know what a granade is - clearly it goes BOOM to little effect. Throws a GRENADE at Dracula's mother - made of silver and designed to create cross shaped shrapnel. Settles back to watch the fun. I do miss Mrs Dobbin, the newbies (aka the Reception Class) wont remember her and will be too busy twittering on about cigar butts and dog poo; but I remember her.
  5. I remeber one occasion when somebody actually did pick up their dog's poo in a plastic bag and THEN just dropped bag and poo in the middle of Dulwich Woods. This is the kind of people we are dealing with. What can you do? Tsk
  6. BE STERN WITH US ANNAJ!! We deserve it and we should be punished >:D
  7. Saunters towards coffin holding hammer and stake (Mr Pointy, borrowed from Buffy), revolver with silver bullets, garlic and numerous crosses. Mrs Dobbin will be revenged ..................
  8. I will be in about 9.30ish.
  9. Yes for me. I am in Tamworth all day - but should be back in time if we eat at say 8.30?
  10. Honfleur is a good starting point. Its just the other side of the Pont Normandie, has plenty of hotels and is a beautiful little fishing port with lots of restaurants and bars around the harbour. A tip would be to have a drink by the harbour and then wander in a few streets to eat - thus saving yourselves some money. The Saturday market is great for buying fresh food and a rotisserie chicken for a picnic. It is well placed for either using the coast road or Autoroute to Bayeux and the Normandy Beaches or to Rouen (going the other way) or touring inland to take in the countryside. Caen is a bit bleak as it was flattened by the Allies after D-Day, but it has the ruins of Willam the Conquerors birthplace and a magnificent D-Day Museum if you are into that sort of thing. Eat gallette, crepe, Tarte au Pomme and drink cider and calvados. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/169/386833839_2b18561a13.jpg?v=0 Honfleur

  12. G&Ts - on a school night? Shocking. Hpy Bdy Hibbsie X
  13. I have had a rather disappointing experience at The Vale Pharmacy. A few months ago I became truly middle aged when I required a repeat prescription. The Vale Pharmacy is the most convenient for me and so lodged my prescription with them. Its not a difficult prescription or indeed an unusual one; but it just seemed to cause real problems. The final straw was when I turned up on Saturday to be told that my prescription (ordered on Tuesday) wasnt ready and to come back today, they had been "busy" - this or similar has happened every time I have requested a prescription from them. I phoned the The Gardens Surgery this morning to check what was happening and was told that they received the prescription request on the 20th, but nobody had collected it. I told them my story and they advised me to use Maceys on North Cross Road - which I did and got the impression that they were really rather well organised. The Pharmacist at The Vale is a nice guy, but in my experience it does seem to lack organisation, which is a bit bothersome as they are dealing with presciption drugs. Any other experiences?
  14. Today I worked from home, so I went to the Doctors, went to the North Cross Road Pharmacy (see soon to be new thread), waved at Steph, chatted to Reuben, got a coffee at Nero's, worked a bit, had lunch (see thread), went to a business meeting at Dulwich Hospital, bumped into and chatted to PGC, came home.
