  1. So thats .. one, two, three, many, lots ... I have run out of countin'
  2. Cool. 7.15 in the EDT and then Surma at 8 or, if some dont fancy the drink, we will meet people at the Surma.
  3. Next Monday curry lovers. Nearly all welcome ;-)
  4. BUT have you tried Foie Gras, wrapped in milk fed baby cow (is there any other kind?) and wrapped in pastry? Lovely. As is Panda steak and Gorilla scratchings. When eating the latter, go for the scratchings with nipples on for extra crunch. Leave the ones with hair on, not so nice.
  5. Marvellous. we usually meet at about 7.15 in a pub (the EDT in this case I think) and then head for the restaurant at about 8.
  6. Are there any curry houses in the area? Should we visit them?
  7. "Blimey Quids, I didnt think you could open the pages anymore! That Stella is she the last ever NOTW Lovely? Very worried about the situation in the Horm of Africa, 34-24-34?"
  8. Have to agree with KK. I have been there 3 times and will go back at some point. The 2 volcanic natural parks are worth visiting and it is a bit windy at times, but seldom so strong that you be hospitalised with 3rd degree wind-burn. Scotch must have been unlucky.
  9. Of the Canaries Lanzarote is my favourite, they have controlled tourism development and make the most of their natural parks, Fuertaventura is less developed but is quite barren. It is true to say that there is little in the way of getting away from it all.
  10. *The Quiet Room becomes Quiet*
  11. *Scribbles tooth brush moustaches on both of them*
  12. Good call Mathilda. Swadesh we have done wtice this year but Surma hasnt been visited in 2011 so lets try that one.
  13. We are waiting for some gormless twat to post "73" on the thread. Then we will leap from behind the sofas and sink knives into their artless idiotic backs.
  14. Good God! I started this one. Has it really been 4 years? I dont post much now. Not since the mugging and my car being stolen and the burglary and the crack den raid next door and subsequent slaughter of all at 73 and the clowns on Peckham Rye and the rabid fox scare and the killing of Mrs Dobbin the lactating donkey by a psycho Dulwich Mother..... .... but its a grand place to live.
  15. Come on, stop flanneling. Yes or No? You have been hovering for too long now.
  16. Dressage. "Yes Darling Grand-children I went to the London Olympics and watched horses walk side-ways, a marvellous memory"
  17. A healthy nine of us at Veer Zarra last night. Good compnay and food, although some of the popadoms were somewhat soft. The company was enlivered by a curry club virgin who plnged the conversation into good natured smut and depravity. Much amusement caused by the Midwife who cant spot a pregnancy from 3 paces. ?20 each for a slap up meal. I promised to remind people about their Elvis night (mentioned further up this thread), concider yourselves reminded. Pip pip.
  18. Pole dancing joint. In fact I understand the Dulwichmum is re-visitng her previous profession and has applied for an exotic dancing licence.
  19. The Curry Club will be represented, very much in a static mode, I will be at the finishing line welcoming in the runners and riders. I trust we will have representation from the canine residents, as we did last year? That caused no end of fun. Do we have Barriet back? The bears are actually Berlin bears and are feckin' expensive! A ridiculous 60 Euros for a Barry sized bear. I have a tiny Berlin bear from my last trip - we need to think who we award it to, 6cm tall and cost 15 Euros.
  20. You are quite correct young StraferJack. I wondered when somebody would spot my deliberate mistake. As you were.
