Now come home before your heart collapses.
  2. OK, lets go with Curry Cabin. Sorry leaglebeagle - "the needs of the many" as they say in Star Trek
  3. Strawbs - whatever happend to our idea of an ED Lesbo-Fest on Goose Green? We might still be able to find a grant to fund it.
  4. Work from home - its the way to go. I have been posting for the past half hour. Its very tiring.
  5. The front privet-hedge needs trimming, that would be more of a hedge-clipper job. Hedge clippers would be more the Moosling's thing dont you think? I know that he has all the manic instincts needed to successfully wield a chainsaw, but sadly as yet not the stature. Come the Spring, no doubt a chainsaw will be just the thing as he follows in the family tradition stature-wise. A Christmas present idea there for you. His little face will light up to see a chainsaw next to the Christmas tree. Best buy a titanium tannenbaum; or a drum kit instead of the chainsaw.
  6. YAY! Now where do we fancy going? The Bueller isnt an option.
  7. Sorry Moos, I used one of Dulwichmum's off-spring as they need the cash after James' run in with the SFO. Would the Moosling like to cut the grass? We have a 2100 Horse-power turbo sit-on lawn mover in the mews.
  8. OK I spelt Beuller wrong. However to Brum and the person that PMd me the same question - "Anybody, Anybody, Beuller?" is a quote from the film Ferris Beuller's Day Off - not the name of a new ED Indian restaurant. Yet. It looks like its the 14th - which I cant do!!!! I have to go and help my Mum move. Back to the drawing Board - how about the 13th? Next Monday.
  9. I am getting PMs from people as well - which is fine, but making things a bit difficult to coordinate. I think we are going for the 14th, could people confirm that this is OK or otherwise?
  10. Hmmm, its the end of Summer, Time to cover the swimming pool, removing Dulwichmums hand knitted swim wear from the changing room. Sent a 5 year old up the chimney this morning, let him keep the soot and gave him a tanner for his troubles. A quick dust, hoover, de-lousing and the Quiet Room will be ready for the Autumn.
  11. I wonder how many of these famous (famous-ish, barely famous, who?) people follow the Forum or even post? James Nesbit is Dulwichmum by the way.
  12. Is anybody going to put Rubsley out of his misery? I am sure that the carefully shaven tonsure will have grown out by now and his reading will have broadened out from Leviticus. The squint from hours copying religious texts by tallow candle light might be a bit off-putting though.
  13. We have a suggestion of 14 September. Anybody, Anybody, Beulah?
  14. Now come on folks, we can do better than this! Having told me when you cant do - will peeps please tell me when you can do! I cant do it all by myself. Lets try this - if you have a negative response please suggest an alternative date.
  15. That was quick Impetuous - you went from looking for a date to no longer single in less than 2 hours.
  16. Loving Radarvirtuel - I think that the recent rumble was an Emirates 777 over Beckenham.
  17. Recently discovered that your vocation wasnt at deep as it might be. After much thought, reflection, prayer and debate with Father Abbot and God the Father, decided it was time to cast off the brown robes and horse hair undies and enter into the world. That sort of thing?
  18. Nice one Georgia. Good to meet folks and catch up with the news, big and small. For those that asked about the Curry Club - please see the Curry Club thread for the latest discussions.
  19. "In their tomb" - The arent dead yet! Poor sods, lets not write them off.
  20. The 30th? Blimey I was hoping for something a bit more than a month away! How about the 16th?
  21. The beds were from IKEA, passed down bit by bit and then followed by an allen key. The meatballs were also IKEA. They get everywhere.
  22. Time for a meeting. Any preferred dates?
  23. Moths probably. Zillions of them in ED.
