  1. Exposed again....! Your Google skills are impressive. Don't you think you have gone just a teeny bit too personal there? On a lighter note, yes, nail me to the cross please for I have sinned... I don't run the bank dear, I simply work there :)-D
  2. Honest post Gav, I like it and I do hope it encourages more constructive feedback.
  3. Ps: it was your friend, Nexi who mentioned MIT, not me... As relevant as most other snippets of information he has provided the past few days. Hey, entertainment is entertainment..
  4. Hilarious, ironic even, seeing as I have asked you on more than one occasion to divulge or 'impart' as you put it, some of that vast knowledge you have accumulated since watching Bloomberg since June 2007. 19 years of what exactly...? Go on, stop speaking in riddles and start imbuing us with your knowledge. Your strategy for debate is somewhat juvenile. And as for throwing in the towel, I didn't know this was a boxing match; obviously not how I see but how you do which speaks volumes... Personally, I love a challenge so game on my friend... >:D Frankito Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > UDT, instead of nit-picking, do enlighten us > with > > your four years of market wisdom and no need to > > treat me like a naughty child, this one won't > be > > going to the naughty corner any time soon. > > > I have long suspected that what you know isn't > worth hearing. 5. Whatever it is, I will have 6 of them.
  6. UDT, instead of nit-picking, do enlighten us with your four years of market wisdom and no need to treat me like a naughty child, this one won't be going to the naughty corner any time soon. Loz, she came here in peace but has already managed to throw quite a lot of toys out of her pram already, it's verging on hysteria, I love a good party!
  7. Exposed - again! :)-D
  8. Darn, exposed again. You are ever so good at this Miss Marple, time for another cup of tea. Jumping over to the > Waitrose boat are we?
  9. Why don't you share it wirh all of us...? You haven't given us much insight thus far, oh other than exposing Franki big spuds... Delusions of grandeur me thinks, please continue, I was getting bored but now I am all ears.
  10. Do you make cupcakes? You should have said....
  11. Nexi, you appear to have missed off the Waitrose, otherwise, brilliant!
  12. Errr, I am not the one who mentioned it in the first place. When have I ever claimed to know so much? Never....! The fact you haven't invested (no pun) much time in appreciating that, instead relying on random assumptions does make me question the general validity of your depth of knowledge.. Did you apply the same caveman techniques when you wete sitting in your armchair flipping between Bloomberg TV and CNBC...? And for the record, I manage several Middle Office Trade Support teams across a variety of products and it's my part of my job to know what they do... I haven't met any yet who rely exclusively on 'charts'. Is that techy talk for something new. Anyway, my little pirhanas, we can drag this one into next week if you want, I will happily bore you to death with what I do for a living but but not sure I have the enthusiasm. My stamp collection awaits me....
  13. Seriously, you are cracking me up with your comments! What are you...? >:D @undisputedtruth: > > I want to be able to take everyone seriously on > here, when a serious discussion is taking place > about a serious subject. > > This often seen cocky way of communicating is so > self serving and unhelpful to the discussion - its > not about the individual its about our futures in > this particular case! > > We all deserve being treated respectfully and need > to set the example. > > @frankito - I hope you return and are able to > speak with more humility. > > Thx.
  14. Meds, it's 50-50 really.. I have probably eaten more chicken than cake so I guess if I had to jump off the fence I would probably say more chicken. Troll alert.....>:D<
  15. Iamhere, errr, I am not the weak one here. I am not arguing with anyone and my ego is perfectly matched to my rather stunning exterior. Don't be afraid when someone chooses to disagree with you, it's ok, really. I am not trying to win you over.... So couldn't care less if you take me seriously or not. I am not on here to make friends, I have more than enough already, but thanks for asking anyway.. And undisputed truth, yes I guess there are traders out there who watch eirher but I am sure they probably use BBG more than they watch it and probably don't rely exclusively on it to make informed financial decisions. I do like the fact that you are talking more at ground level rather than flying at 50,000ft like your side-kick, Nexi. Next?
  16. I think you need a Franki-hug!
  17. Meds, can we have some data to back that one up please....! >:D
  18. I think cup cakes tend to carry a fair deal more icing and tend not to be made by 5 year olds..
  19. Undisputed, you got me there, fess up time, yes, I clean windows in the City.. Miss or Mr Marple? Bravo!! What I actually do is really not up for discussion but I would happily forward you my CV if you think it would help.. Reading the FT and listening to CNBC does not make you an expert in anything; my point was, enough already of the armchair expert stuff and go do some real research. If that is factually inaccurate then pray tell, your retorts haven't given me much to work on. And Iamhere, ooooh, I have been exposed...? Do I care? Yes, loads.... It is a bit bizarre that you would address me by my full name in any case but, I guess that's your issue rather than mine. It would be great to know your name too... Oh and little Nexi, you got me too.. Yes a real fraudster I am indeed.. Claiming to know more than the rest of the planet, you do entertain me with your waff, don't ever change. You should write birthday cards for a living as your one-liners are borderline genius. Snake oil salesman eh, could we be talking biblical now...?
  20. You don't need to challenge me on anything as my opinions are perfectly rounded and based on both experience and observation from both sides of the fence; it sounds like you need to challenge yourself to some unbiased financial education beyond what you read in the tabloids as it's a massive spectrum and, only once you appreciate that and all it's different layers, then we should talk again. Unlike some others, I am not on here to preach however, when I read so much unsubstantiated tosh, I just can't resist dipping my toes in.. I could go on and on and on but I have said my piece and hopefully planted the seed for someone somewhere to perhaps question some of what they read or, at least look at an issue from more than one vantage point.
  21. That happened to me not so long ago, my whole calf and foot were swollen almost to the point that I thought the skin was going to break! Very painful to walk on and it took about 4 days to return to normal. I walk my dog there at the weekend but don't remember any black fly specifically.
  22. Disputable, please re-quote me on point 1. On point 2, hilarious on many different levels; I would love to know where you get your data from that allows you such omnipotent wisdom.. Go and do some basic study on the markets and then come back and talk me through that again.
  23. Gish, you have certainly come out your shell from your last whimpering post..! I don't want to hurt your feelings dear but I think your interpretation of my last post is way off the mark. Just for the record, I am not defending 'bankers' per se, my point was about people having a bigger picture view of cause and effect rather than clutching at a few convenient straws.
  24. Syclla, good post, a lot more balanced than some of our friends.. There are problems out there, that is obvious however the solutions they parade in the media, in my humble opinion, will do little more than exaccerbate the situation. In order for there to be a sustainable solution to our global (multi-layered) issues, we need to look at the grey matter more than the black and white at either end.
