  2. Well, MrB, are you going? Make a week of it, stay up for the Hearts game, you know you want to...

I wasn't talking about you though. In the context of troll activity the forum experiences, and that the OP had just registered (classic troll behaviour), I don't think it was unreasonable to question the use of 'Gypsy'. In my youth Gypsy or 'gypo' was often a derogatory term...

Had a look at this today, there is no way they are going to be open by Christmas, so book your festive cinema tickets elsewhere. Front doors were open and inside it's a derelict shell, steel beams on the floor, so they are still doing the basics. Also had a look at the gaping hole around the side, this is where the two main screens are going, even once the main building works are done it takes many weeks to fit out a screen. I reckon Easter at the earliest if things go smoothly...
  5. Nincompoop...:)
  6. For those of you missing your fix of Downton, Italy v Croatia is on ITV4...
  7. These days it's granary bread but white is better, Cheshire cheese (naturally crumbly), HP sauce...
  8. Too late, driver booked in. I owe you one...
  9. That's very neighbourly of you KK, I'll send the van round tomorrow...

  11. Whenever I've had a smallish one-off item to dispose of that the council won't take, I've just asked someone locally who has a skip outside their home if they would mind if I dropped it in. So far they've all said it would be ok. London can be neighbourly if you engage...

  13. Sorry to disappoint you again RPC, but AqM is talking about Blah Blah, not you...

You also said previously that ''I'll start cheering again when Rooney is gone.'' That's quite an uncompromising statement. So what reasons do you have for wanting rid of England's best player and top goal scorer? Who will replace him? It'll need to be a bit more of a convincing reason(s) than saying he gets too much publicity...

Judging by your last but one sentence, you clearly thought the latter. Once again you come across as overly defensive, only this time with added neurosis, alluding that I was now somehow implying that you're Blah Blah. Go to the previous page and you will see an image I posted that is a visual clue as to who I think Blah Blah is. Here's a clue: It's not you...
  17. Ah yes, Steven Gerrard. Did he ever have a good tournament in an England shirt? They've been collective failures. Ignoring the fact that it has been Rooney's goals that have got England through qualifications, he did actually have one very good tournament in Portugal. In an England shirt he's never reached those same heights, but if you look at the team as a whole, neither have they. But you keep on looking for sticks to hit Rooney with Ots if it makes you feel better...

Methinks the lady doth protest too much ;-)...
  19. I'm sure the England fans will take great glee in reminding the home fans that they are still British, and I don't expect the Scots to join in when the England fans start goading the Scots with God Save the Queen and Rule Britannia...or do you think otherwise?
  20. Are you a reincarnation RPC?...
  21. Agree MrB, it will be a non-stop wall of noise, and rather 'tasty' with the referendum still fresh in fans' minds...

  24. Blatter is also a genius. One nation, one vote. Andorra = Germany...
  25. I'm looking forward to the Scotland v Eire game more than England's. There's more at stake, there'll be a passionate crowd, and it's always good to see the celts kicking lumps out of each other...
