I'm just glad I'm still in the running after missing out on 2 of the 4 races. Somehow my jockey and trainer selections have kept me in with a shout. You must have had the winner of the last race, another big outsider...

Go for it EP. I was thinking earlier that it would be good if there was a more user friendly way of storing and presenting the weekly forecasts, results and table, rather than having to trawl back through pages and pages...

  7. No probs RC, Ots & maxxi. Overall I thought it was successful for a first attempt. Especially as apart from Mick, no one lost interest in the last few weeks. The first season was always going to have a few problems/anomolies. The main one being whether to have the maxxi or not. If we do, it's value will definitely drop, with hindsight 5 points was too generous. If it's much lower, say 2 points, there will be no need for the 75% rule either. There's a good argument for not having the maxxi at all next season. It was only introduced to give latecomers some points as an incentive to join in. Next season, come the big kick off, we should all be starting off together, ...11 and a half weeks and counting. Champions League finalists (AM & mx) don't forget to PM your predictions to me before the big kick-off this Saturday evening...

  20. The ideal time to prune is just after flowering, but before the new leaf appears. If you take out the new leaf be prepared not to have any flowers next year. If it's been neglected then it will probably benefit from a 'rejuvenation' pruning, i.e. cutting it right back...

I'll do tables 'with' and 'without' the 75% club.
