    Frankel....

DulwichFox Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Frankel --- Burger au Cheval... > > Fox. That would be one expensive burger Foxy, Frankel is now reckoned to be worth ?100+ million at stud. Watched the BBC coverage, great day's racing. Did anyone else notice the camera catching Henry Cecil having a sly puff on a cigarette?!!..

  3. I would also say 'probably not', but it will ultimately depend on who you placed the bet with and their T$C...
  4. I don't think players are forced to wear the T-shirts. It's presumed they will as it's the right and decent thing to do. Why wouldn't they want to wear one? KIO have been caught in the cross-fire of the aftermath of the Terry and Suarez affairs. They have a budget of less than ?0.5million, so what they can do/say is fairly limited. As Otta said, perhaps these players should be seeing what they can do to increase the effectiveness of KIO. I don't see how the wearing of the T-shirts is meaningless. It may be to some world wearly middle-aged fans, but it's important that the message is periodically delivered to younger fans who, whether people like it or not, look up to the players...

  8. I heard that call. Someone in the studio reckoned that the clubs could substantially lower tickets prices from the extra revenue they will receive next season from the new Sky deal, but we all know they won't. Fans go on about overpaid prima donnas, but to me the buck stops with the clubs, they control what the players earn, not the players...

  10. Mick, you're actually doing your body more harm abstaining and then going on a massive bender. Get yourself down to the pub tonight and tomorrow, explain to the Mrs it's for medical reasons...
  11. ProPlus and sleeping tablets aside, another insipid and disjointed performance from Team England. What gets me, is that in the post-match TV interview, Roy said that the pitch wasn't conducive to possession football, instead suiting the long ball game. If that's the case Roy, why didn't you play a team that included Carroll and wingers?..
  12. Mr B, this thread is actually quite indicative of the average 14yo boy's thought patterns...sex, sexual insults, squabbling about sexual insults, and the Damart catalogue
  13. *Bob*, if you're going to stroke my 'therms', could you please at least wait until I'm not wearing them...

  16. Who saw that result coming? John, Manchester's finest, producing some fancy ganache work in the final bake-off to pip Brendan the Softy Southerner. ''I'm over the moon'' said a delighted John. Predictably Brendan was ''gutted'' and quickly blamed a bad egg timer. James, a distant third, headed home in true Scottish fashion with his tail well and truly between his legs...

The Damart catalogue is still going strong, and the aforementioned thermolactyl underpants now have a worringly reassuring look about them...
  18. I'm not sure that the rest of England needed to 'up their game' in Carroll's absence, it's not like he's ever been an automatic first choice striker, like Shearer. The position alongside Rooney has been up for grabs for a while, in time I expect Welbeck will fill the role, with Carroll a Plan B option a la Crouch...

    Great Gigs

Total greed, they make more from merchandising, so I don't understnd the need for such inflated prices, instead it would've been a nice touch if they'd put on a free show for members of their fan club to mark the event...

  21. Roy needs to make a big decision tonight, Defoe or Welbeck...or maybe Carroll? Defoe is a better finisher than Wellbeck, but Wellbeck's all round play and linking-up with Rooney makes me think he'll get the nod. Either way, after the luxury of Friday's turkey shoot, expecting a typical England nailbiting performance, with honours even...
