  3. No we're not!!!!!...
  4. Automatic 5 point deduction for insolence...
  5. It was a low scoring day all round, I don't think anyone predicted a Reading, West Brom or Norwich win *Throws Delia's Happy Christmas cook book into the bin...
  6. You and me both Mick. The only game I've played seriously is Blackjack in casinos, but I suspect the serious poker players look down on that as a bit Mickey Mouse :)
  7. ''You can represnt hands (bluff) on the internet with the right lines of play and bet sizes etc'' That's what struck me about watching it last night, punters were just going all in all the time. Online poker has taken away the face to face element of bluffing. Personally I would ban sunglasses in 'live' games :)

My definition of a long ball would be a rushed hit and hope, usually by the goalie or a defender, whereas with a player like Scholes it is always said he hits 40-50 yard passes...
  9. I would prefer a game that still has a reasonable element of bluff about it rather than percentages/probabilities, or has that been blown out of the water with the internet and all the associated 'tools'?..
  10. Omaha Hi/Lo sounds interesting, is there split betting?

The presenter guy said he prefers to play Omaha, more skill involved, is this true?..

  20. I've heard the word opprobium used a lot recently, what with all the Savile/BBC shenanigans. No idea of it's meaning so Googled it... Disgrace arising from exceedingly shameful conduct; ignominy Small world innit :)
  21. I'm Chelsea'd out, the sooner the FA reports it's findings the better. Any thoughts on the England game tonight? Can't see the logic of having a mid-week friendly at this time of year, but looks like the Royster is treating it as an opportunity to blood some youngsters*, which can only be good. A shame Wilshire and Cleverley aren't both playing, would've liked to see how they got on together in midfield. *I'm Zaha'd out too...

  25. I'm an online browser. Although it leaves me feeling dirty and racked with shame, I convince myself that before I can pass judgement I need to understand better the object of my contempt...and then I move on to the Daily Star
