  1. Jack Butland has looked very good so far in the Olympics, him and Hart are clearly the future for England between the sticks. I expect he will be snapped up by a Premier League team before the transfer window closes. I prefer watching the more fluid system Pearce has employed with Team GB than Hodgson's rigid 4-4-2...watch and learn Roy
  2. Faze, go easy on *Bob*, he has low self-esteem issues. Both him and Otta have weekly sessions st the Priory, the costs of which put wooden windows in the shade. Instead, rejoice that you have your own little hole in the ozone layer with your name on it...along with the zillions of other uPVC users...

Surprised to hear you say that Faze, I always thought BMW was the uPVC of the German motor industry, whilst Audi is the hardwood option....ding ding, round 2! :)

  5. In theory plastic will last forever, because the plastic isn't biodegradable. Aesthetics and green issues aside, the problem with uPVC is the components that make up the whole, they tend to be of poor quality and workmanship, hence even the leading manufacturers will only offer a 10-year guarantee, not a lot for a product that will 'last forever'. Got this from a Google search... http://www.guildford.gov.uk/article/870/Repair-and-reinstatement-of-windows
  6. What *Bob* said. uPVC can actually detract from the overall value of a period property, negating any installation savings...

    a joke

Husband says to wife... ''My Olympic condoms have arrived...I think I'll wear Gold tonight'' Wife says... ''Why not wear Silver and come second for a change''
  8. George Bish, Bash, Bosh...
  9. Quadruple Sculls Rower...happy with that *Polishes Gold Medal*
  10. Could do without the screeching commentary of Matt 'One Show/Countryfile' Baker...stick to worrying sheep
  11. I thought he said he would only go to a club that had qualified for Europe? If it happens, it's a steal...
  12. The Olympic cauldron was an inspired design by Thomas Heatherwick. Overall I thought it was a brilliant ceremony. We were never going to better Beijing for the wow factor, instead we showed our inventive and quirky nature. The carrying of the Olympic flag was the most cringeworthy moment for me, it all went a bit schmaltzy...I hoped you all sang along to the Olympic anthem...and how did 'humanitarian icon' Shami-Leather Rent-a-Gob Chakrabarti get in on the act? And please stop wheeling out Muhammad Ali, he's not a well man. But the highs far outweighed the lows, and a big well done to all the local volunteers...fantabulosa! :)
  13. That'll be Wee Dougal legging it back to the lavvy again...
